    Arlo just bricked all my old cameras by requiring a subscription to even view them. These were sold with the agreement that it was free. DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY! DONT BUY THIS!!! BAIT AND SWITCH!!

    Bought the 3cameras with charger 1 camera was bad. Tech support was a big joke. No help at all.

    Bought the Arlo cameras in December 2020 in a bundle. One of the camera's battery didn't last for a entire week. Best buy couldn't replace only that , so made me return them. Lost the special I bought them, because they didn't have them any more as that bundle

Average use assumes that you are using Optimized or Best Battery Life video settings and that your cameras record for approximately five minutes per day.

    Arlo products are total junk. This product will be dead just a month past the warranty and they will not replace or repair the item at that point. Overpriced junk and horrible customer service. Ring offers better quality and better customer service.

    2FA (forced Phone use, PC not trusted device)

    I have had my Arlo system for 3 years now and until they changed the rules on 2FA (Two step verification) it has been great. Since Mid April 2021 they are not allowing personal computers as a trusted device, this means that you have to do 2 form identification every time you get a notification on your phone to review it on your PC. This is unacceptable. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, its a home based security system, not a phone based security system. This review will remain 1 star until this get changed. DO NOT BUY ANY ARLO PRODUCTS until they change this.

    Zero service sfter warranty

    I have a complete Arlo system, five cameras, doorbell, etc. etc. etc. as long as it works fine he doesn’t and it is in warranty. Things are fine.. once out of warranty they have a pretty much ZERO free support. I found that out the hard way. I have two cameras that are not connecting to the base anymore and I have no one to speak to about it. In fact, they don’t even allow you to call their help desk or provide you a number for any solution

    Bought these for the wireless functionality. Waste of money! If you want to be able to review any specific point in time, you have to pay for a subscription PER DEVICE. It was going to cost us $100+ monthly to get that. We purchased for one device, and then noticed the camera kept turning off...it apparently has to be wired to support the 24/7 history. So the camera only lets you watch live video, or see the events it chooses to pick up...waste of money. Nest is more expensive up front but VASTLY superior. $15 buys 10 day video history review for five devices. Dont buy arlo...
