    not easy for family members to use don't buy ARlo.

    Arlo used to be OK, then they change the software. Now it is unreliable. Also it only only allows one person to control the system it makes it difficult for other people in your family to log on to view the cameras. For example if my wife wants to check the cameras it sends me a request on my phone, but what if I am at the doctor and can't approve the request? They have a secondary method but it doesn't work well either. Don't buy Arlo or you will regret it.

    Get ready to pay for a subscription!

    Don't buy this unless you want to also buy a subscription to view the videos in the cloud! The camera is fine, but once the trial expires for Arlo Smart, you have to buy a subscription to have videos recorded and available in the cloud. That was NOT obvious when I bought this device. I have four older Arlo cameras, each of them will record to the cloud for FREE. BUT NOT THE NEW ONE! Super disappointed.

      Remote and local live streaming
      Push notifications
      Auto Zoom and Tracking*
      Two-way audio
      Local storage recording* (when connected to a compatible Arlo SmartHub/base station)
      *Auto zoom and tracking and local storage recording are not available for all Arlo devices.

    Do not buy these cameras unless you are aware you have to pay a monthly subscription after the 90 day trial. Arlo claims they have local usb storage, however the feature is essentially useless. You cannot access the videos from the app or remotely. Waste of money. I should have kept my cheaper cloud storage cameras... They also buffer and are about 3 second delayed.

    These products are not worth the price and are not reliable. They are often offline and lack recordings. Every time you contact them, the last resort will be RMA (return merchandise authorization) and you have to pay for the shipping fee even if you are still under 1 year warranty.

    These things suck. We've had them for a while. Someone who knew our garage code was able to get into our house without it ever being recorded. It takes seconds to open the app which is a long time. Going with a wired system next.

    Completely unreliable system. Cameras with full signal strength and a strong internet connection regularly do not record motion. Would you trust the security of your family if this happened? I would return but Best Buy’s measly 15 day return policy will make that difficult.

    If there was a possibility to give it zero stars I would do it. 2 months old and does not work. Customer service the worst of them all. No help.
