Good camera quality. The battery life is no where near what was advertised as 3-6 months. Lucky to get 3-6 weeks without needing to change the battery. It comes with a spare and charger but having to change the battery that often isn’t fun.

Just installed 3 days ago. So far, easy to install with clear instructions from a Youtube video. Very good resolution. Happy with this purchase. Plan to invest in Arlo hard wires for the cameras (3) and a doorbell. Wish the wires were not so expensive.

Great quality product with awesome features. Easy and quick to setup with step by step tutorial online. No matter day or night, with the spotlight feature the view of my Arlo Pro 4 is clear and picture perfect when viewing on my smartphone. Arlo has definitely exceeded all expectations with their Arlo Pro 4 Spotlight Camera.

The quality of the picture of these cameras is great. The battery life needs improvement. Having to change batteries often is not always convenient. It took over a month after purchasing to have Best Buy install them

The Arlo Security Camera has good quality, you have to go online to learn all of the operations. Best Buy Geeks are not up to speed with operations. Problem, I purchased the Camera System in February and it took Best Buy until May to come out and install.

Added this camera to an existing system. The camera is great however if you don't purchase a subscription you will not get any video ONLY motion detection and live feed. I had to reset the camera a few times, the others as well. Don't know why but it happened on all cameras at different times. Battery life is one month then recharge or get a solar panel. Bottom line: Great camera when working, subscription needed or you have a very expensive motion detector/live feed camera, purchase an additional solar panel.

These are a pretty good value. The cameras are top-quality and 2k is a nice step up from 1080. The cases are designed to be mounted into a wall, so if you want magnetic mounts, that's an added cost option and so are power charging cables. I'm very happy with these.

Absolute garbage that can NOT be trusted

First issue is battery life. The cameras use battery when motion is detected, even if it is outside the motion zone and no recording takes place. I have two cameras by my door, and the motion from the street, and even the shadows from trees moving in the wind, which is outside the activity zones for both cameras, cause the batteries to drain in 2-3 days. I had to spend an extra $100 for 2 Arlo power cables (stupid expensive cables that shouldn't be needed). So it uses mass amounts of battery power even when it's not recording. Second issue, and more important, the cameras work when you don't need them, and don't work when you do need them. This is coupled with the fact that the night time recording is garbage. I have 3 cameras set up. One in the front covering all entry access to my residence, one at the door which is in the back of my place, and one covering my driveway, which is in the back too. They FAILED me last night, the first time they actually would have been handy to have, and the exact reason I purchased the system in the first place. Someone came in my back yard last night, and the front camera did not activate, so no recording took place. The door camera, which they also walked right past did not activate either. The rear driveway camera recorded someone walking in my driveway and behind my vehicles with a bag in his hand. But it stopped recording after not seeing motion for 10 seconds, and did not capture this person leaving, so I have no recording that can identify this person, since the 2 cameras that have a good view to show this person's face didn't record at all. And then the camera that did record them didn't record that person leaving my property, so it doesn't have a good recording that can be of any use either. As well, the recording quality at night is absolute garbage. I can't even get a clear shot of the side of the person that came in my driveway, the video quality isn't good enough, and everytime I pause the video to try and get a look at the person, the paused video is blurry, so it is impossible to get even a description of the person, except the general idea of what they were wearing. For the about $550 (plus $9 per month) I have invested in this system, it failed me during a time that was the exact reason I bought them in the first place. I have had to contact Arlo support twice, and they were completely useless both times, literally not providing any help either time. A TOTAL WASTE OF $550 (plus $9 per month)!

These will be extremely helpful around our new house! Thankfully as a total member at BestBuy these were discounted and came with a free protection plan! The camera battery pack is easy to charge and replace in the camera. The picture is clear and everything is easy to view in the Alro app to manage all of the equipment.

I had to get the Arlo 4 because (2) of the (5) Arlo 3 cameras that I bought 8 months ago started to show green areas in the video, and I was told that in order to exchange the 2, I needed to return them all, including all the accessories because all 5 were part of the same setup, the problem was that they already started to discontinue Arlo3 and they only had Arlo 4, which meant that even though I had a warranty, I needed to spend about $500.00 to get a new set of cameras. The problem that I found with the Arlo 4, is that since they do not need a hub anymore, the cameras do the job of the hub, so each one of them send the video wherever it goes, and because of this, I noticed that the batteries do not last as much as the Arlo 3 used to do, so now I have to recharge them more often.

Setup was largely seamless, and video quality is excellent. The battery option is an excellent solution if you don't have power nearby your monitoring locations and/or don't want unsightly wires, however, battery life was significantly less on one charge than advertised - likely due to excessive motion, though. My one complaint was with the screws for the mounting plates - consistently I could not get them all the way in and/or they would strip. We used different ones (of our own) on the last camera and it worked like a charm.
