Just bought these new Cameras. I’m yet to still open them but I’m excited about them being setup around my new house so I will feel safer about what goes on around my family.

This camera are really good and o would recommend them to anyone that is looking to protect their home.

Good quality videos also battery life lasts a long time.

Ive used arlo cameras for atleast 5 yrs now and like them.

Works as expected, but battery life is disappointing

Setup was pretty easy although the QR code was not easy to scan with each camera - some accepted the code right away and others took a while trying. I am disappointed in the amount of time the camera records when there is motion (I guess I assumed they would record all the time and save a small period of time before and after the movement). Sometimes it only gets part of the movement. App works well and is easy to use. Night performance is not very good. I can see something moving (like a turkey or coyote) but I really cant tell what it is from the recording. I believe you need to have pretty good lighting if you want clarity at night. Two of the units that we mounted with the included magnetic mount were knocked off while there was a crew replacing the roof, and they fell pretty far (one two stories on grass and the other 1.5 onto rocks) but both worked no problem. Overall I would probably do a little more research before selecting.

Excellent picture. Love the improved charging jack. Paired right up with my existing vmb4000 for local storage. Only flaw, the manual doesn’t tell you how to open the darned thing to put the battery in. Turns out you push really hard on the nub that looks like it it supposed to hold the power cord in place, the camera pops out of the housing.

Bro four cameras didn’t work well until I finally bought a base hub unit instead of using Wi-Fi. They kept disconnecting and would not reconnect to Wi-Fi, I would have to reset them up multiple times. Disappointed.

I would not recommend this camera set. The batteries only lasted 2 weeks. We were never told you need a monthly subscription. We are elderly (over 70) my husband is a 100 percent disabled veteran. We are in NO condition to be climbing ladders every month. Worse thing followed----I had camera's taken down and planned to return them for a refund. BE Careful you only 15 days from purchase to have cameras returned. We had them 18 days. I would not recommend these camera's unless you plan on replacing the batteries monthly.

I purchased this to replace an older model of the arlo camera. I do not see much difference in the quality of the video recording from my previous camera but the cost was much greater. I kept the camera and used the other elsewhere on the house. I could have gotten an older model of the camera for a replacement and saved money, maybe next time.

The Arlo 4 Is a huge step up from my Arlo pro to the quality of the video is much greater, the zoom is excellent. I really like the fact that you don’t have to hook it up to a specific hub they just connect through the Internet. So you can make your Wi-Fi at your house stronger instead of trying to worry about getting extra herbs throughout your house for your signal. I don’t like that the new chargers are very specific to them only. It’s kind of like Apple they created your own charger that is unique show you going to have to buy specific chargers for these that are compatible with anything else. But overall it’s a huge step up from the Arlo pro 2.

City buyer beware! If you live on a downtown street (ie. with a lot of pedestrians or dogs), these cameras only hold a battery charge for 48-72 hours, so you will need to change the battery every 2 days. I would never have purchased had I known that. Arlo should warn potential buyers that these are not appropriate for city living. Now they are basically worthless as who has time to go change them every 48 hours.

Consumers Report did not rate the Pro 4 as high as the other models but I could not find them locally. I bought 1 Pro 4 to try out. It worked fine at first. I did not mount it out side. I decided to get a 3 bundle pack. While waiting to get it, the first one stopped being online. I removed it and tried to reinstall it. It would search but could not be found by computer or phone. When the 3 came all of them worked fine. I was going to take the first one back. The next day one of the three stopped working. It did the same thing the first one did. I got them on 3/9/22 and the 2 of 3 bundle are still working on 3/14/22. I am pretty good on reading and finding problems with electronics. My router and network are working fine. I did notice that the Arlo website didn't work all the time. I asked for help online. I spent a lot of time with customer service but he didn't fix problem. He said he would send it to someone higher up. The next day I received a email with some of the same things I already did. I responded to the email and told Mary I have done those things and have spent enough time on it. I am taking them all back because the others can stop at any time. None of them were mounted outside. Arlo has a problem with their Pro 4 cameras going offline and not being able to reconnect. It will search but never find the camera. The first time it found the cameras within a couple of seconds. I am very disappointed and will check out another brand. When the Arlo cameras worked the picture was good but there was a delay in starting video. Notifications did not work every time but most of the time.

I Really like my cameras the only thing the motions is a little bit slow but I’m going to buy a WiFi extended

We were updating from Arlo Pro 2 which is obsolete. Do we purchased Arlo Pro 4 w/spotlight feature 3 camera bundle. Really like the broad camera view is Arlo Pro 4 w/spotlight

Solid option. But you need to pay monthly to have recording feature and a few others. $4 per camera

Works great. Every time my dog goes to the back the camera goes off, that is a bit annoying. But I will put up with that for the security at other times. Make sure you adjust the camera as I was picking up every car that drove by. Great product.

Just getting used to the flash every time it captures something. Overall, it’s nice and it does the job.

Works great! Can see video and recorded video on phone with Arlo app. Reasonable subscription $9.99 for up to 16 devices

Works great and easy set up. I have Arlo and Arlo Pro2 cameras that I purchased a few years ago. The Pro4 cameras are huge improvement in battery life and video quality.
