    Have had these up and running for about 4 months. For the price - the cameras a good quality but all the features you would use (like being able to set a zone for the camera to watch so it doesn’t chime at everything endlessly, and being able to open your phone and see what the motion detected was) are locked behind a monthly subscription. Would not recommend unless you want to pay monthly for their app service. (App fee is $7 now but this also is not a live monitored security company, it’s paying for key features and memory)

    I use them but I probably wouldn’t buy them again. I get alarms all the time with just the wind blowing the trees. I also selected a setting where it would ignore animals and it still gives me a alarm for a animal and there is only wind blowing.

    This was a Christmas gift for my husband. He is very difficult to buy for, so I did my research and hoped for the best. Not only was he extremely pleased, but the person we asked to help us install them, said they were the best he had seen!

    The setup was easy, and the cameras worked good for a week. Now the batteries have to be swapped out daily and they havent recorded motion in days.

    Stay away at all cost. After reading tons of reviews, I bought these thinking they would be great. The batteries last 3-5 days at most no matter what setting you have them on; which means don't leave town and think you can rely on these. They turn off constantly, by themselves and it takes an act of God to get them back on. I even bought the hub/base station thinking it would help with battery issues and staying connected, it didn't. So now after 5 months of ownership I'm stuck with them. Bestbuy won't take them back, even though I purchased the return plan and Arlo doesn't stand behind their product. At almost $500 plus a monthly subscription fee, you'd think they would work better. My only option now is to try to sell them on the used market for half the price.

    Purchased as a replacement camera. I had the older one for about 10 months. It just stopped working but I was pleased for those months. Recommend purchasing a replacement plan.

    I had the Arlo Pro 2 cameras and they worked beautifully for a little over 2 years, until one day the batteries just stopped charging. I purchased these thinking they would be the same and they are completely opposite. The battery is a pain to release - you need a little key. It doesn’t hold a charge (I need to charge everyday as opposed to the pro 2, where I could go days, sometimes a week), and their motion sensing requires a subscription if you want it to work at all. I actually really hate these cameras and don’t find them worth the money at all.

    The camera came without a charging cable. When we started checking into why there was no charging cable we discovered that it would have to be purchased separately, and would cost $25, and other accessories that we might want/need would also be quite expensive. Telephone support on the camera was non-existent because we did not buy it direct from Arlo. The camera did seem to produce a good quality video, but there was quite a lag in between when something happened and when it would show up on the live feed. We had planned to buy a few of these to cover all approaches to the house, but we were not impressed with the performance or the support, especially considering the price, so we returned the camera.

    these cameras are absolute garbage compared to nest cameras. The continuous recording feature really doesn’t exist. The monthly cost to keep these cameras on cloud is ridiculous and also they have connectivity problems. If you get a new router it’s almost impossible, even after resetting it to factory reset to reconnect to a Wi-Fi, do not ever buy these cameras stay with Nest

    Don’ Waste Your Money

    I bought a two camera bundle, then returned it after having nothing but problems with connectivity issues and issues adding my wife to my family group within the app. Decided to try a three pack (thinking the first bundle was defective) and quickly realized that I was having the same issues. Arlo support is a JOKE. Good luck getting ahold of someone who speaks intelligible English, and after contacting support, you’ll be bombarded with emails prompting you to update your case. Returned everything and was glad to be done with Arlo.

    Not happy camera battery died fast a few days also the support wasn’t great. It also disconnected from internet which was a defect to the caño themselves. Thanks to Best Buy I changed them to ring will see how does work out.

    Great quality up close, not from a far. The batteries die very quickly and the solar panels do not charge them as they should. Mounting the cameras outside with the magnetic mount was a pain as the instructions/YouTube video was useless, therefore I sent them back and used the ones that came with the cameras.

    I like everything about it except it is very inconsistent in sending alerts to my phone. Good sensitivity, reasonably good video, but I sure wish I could be confident of the alerts. The instructions are not very useful.
