    Arlo Pro4 Cameras ROCK!

Performs well ( even at 0° although a little sluggish). Definition is excellent for 2K even at night with no spotlight. Auto-tracking is phenomenal. Easy to mount and the 160° view is adequate for my needs. Took awhile to learn the settings in the Arlo app but once tweaked improved the performance even more. Love the Solar panels, too!

The camera audio and video quality is great. The setup was relatively easy. I had to press the camera's reset button to sync to my phone. The installation was a pain. The mounting bracket it comes with is not adjustable. It should come with such instead of having to buy it separately, especially as it may need to be mounted high, which our camera was. It should also come with a charging cord. We had to purchase a 25 ft one separately cuz the battery drained quickly as we live in a high traffic apartment community. It became a hassle to have to climb a ladder monthly to charge the battery, even if you have a spare or XL battery. The charging cord was a must. Just keep it attached and plug it in as needed. As for function, the camera is sensitive and picks up mostly everything. It takes some configuring to get the angle right. You can adjust the motion detection area. You can also adjust the motion detection sensitivity in the settings. The night vision is amazing. Can see clear as day. Rarely grainy unless high winds. Our modem/router is close by and set to 2.4 ghz wi-fi signal. Always be sure to locate any other cameras at least six feet apart from each other so there is no interference and interruption between the cameras. Overall, very happy with our camera.

Bought three of these cameras for my mother’s home. Installed one camera in the backyard and the other two on each side of the house. She is satisfied with this security system. Has good picture, night vision, and notifications. There is about a 30-60 second lag between being triggered and sending a notification to her phone. This really isn’t a problem though because we use these cameras to record activity outside, and have a separate alarm system inside the home from another company. Good cameras for recording activity on the premises though. This purchase was satisfactory.

    Questionable battery life

Very good camera quality overall. My only complaint is the battery life. I had one camera dying every 3-4 days and the another every month and a half or so when it says it should last 3-4 months. My wifi connection shows full strength and I even put them on ‘best battery life’ for power management, so I’m not sure why. I bought the solar panel for the one that was dying every few days and so far it has kept a full charge.

These are good cameras to have they pick up anything and everything that goes by them you can set up zones where it will only pick up if it walks in front of the zone only thing I didn't like about it is it said that the battery was six months I felt that I change the battery within 2 months but overall the cameras pretty good you do see everything and anything that pops up

These cameras are pretty good. Picture quality is decent. Batteries don’t last long but they do have a solid option. Easy to mount. If you want more cameras I would suggest just getting another 3 pack as individual cameras are 250 each

The app set up difficulty is what is preventing me from awarding 5 stars. As far as the product working, it is better than expected. The system was easy to install and the cameras work as advertised. I haven't had it set up for long but i also bought the solar panel attachments and my battery has not dipped below 98%.

Arlo makes good quality products. This package includes 3 cameras, 4 batteries and the coveted charger. Other packages I have seen require you to charge the battery in the camera itself while this one lets you swap the batteries and charge offline. This is important because the charge can take hours. The downside here is the battery life. I have one camera in the backyard where it is triggered by animals (domestic and wild) and the driveway has the other camera and gets much less activity. Battery life on the backyard camera is 3 weeks. Driveway is about 4 weeks. There is no possible way you get 6 months of battery unless there is no activity at all. I was skeptical because Wi-Fi is such as power hungry protocol but the battery life is nowhere near what they claim. I would either make sure you pair it with the solar charger or mount the camera where it is easily accessed. I did use my reward certs to get the solar panel charger which should extend the battery life. The secure mount in this package is pretty good. It consists of a ring which is mounted to the surface, then a screw on connector which locks to the ring. Finally, the camera unit uses a T8 screw to secure it to the housing. A half turn of the T8 screw pops the camera out and then you can change the battery. The app is good but there is a lag. Finally, if you subscribe to their identification service where Arlo tells you what it sees (animal, person, package...) there will be a delay as the video is uploaded and processed before it is available to you. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase, I just think it is expensive for something that doesn't include an in-place charge option.

The Arlo Pro 4 is a distinct improvement over the Pro 2 cameras they replaced. Videos cover a much wider area and camera views can be more easily adjusted. Disappointing is that the camera batteries lose their charge as or more quickly than the earlier model, despite Arlo’s claims of longer battery life. This is partly made up for by the ease of removing and replacing the batteries and that the recharging time is much faster.

Great product overall. I only had 1 issue and that was that after a few months 1 of the camera's stopped connecting to the internet. But, with the best buy geek squad protection i brought it back and it was replaced. Clear pictures and it was pretty accurate with its detections.

It's very easy to set up and use. The video quality is really good as well, even at night. The only downside is that the batteries do not last long if the camera is placed in an area with a lot of motion. This set does come with an extra battery so it's quick and easy to change it but it is not enough. I recommend buying solar panel chargers for the cameras that capture a lot of motion. Otherwise you'll have change the batteries almost every two weeks.

Cameras show great and have a very wide viewing angle. Motion detection was pretty good although I did miss some motion. If it was a car driving by it would usually record once the car had already passed. The battery life on these were horrible. I had for almost 3 weeks and had to recharge the batteries atleast 3 times on each camera. One was in a high traffic area and the others were not. The first night I installed the cameras one of the batteries said it needed to be replaced when I woke up. I thought maybe i had a bad battery so I replaced it with the spare that came in the kit. I was able to get almost a week out of it. Motion detection and picture quality were great, but for the price of these cameras the battery life needs alot of improvement. I have blink cameras that use AA batteries that have been going strong for months without needing new batteries. Maybe I will try again when a newer one comes out if they can do something about the battery life.

Only had for a month and we are still learning about them But overall the battery does not last more than a week, all though they change fast. Camera keeps showing unavailable on the app. Camera is sensitive to motion and Notifications you can mute. Some items are not labeled correctly. An insect was labeled as a person and a person was labeled as a package.

Arlo wifi cameras work great. Battery life could be longer s if you don’t want to take them out ever 5-7 days get the solar panel. I haven’t had to Climb a latter ladder in over 3 months with the solar panels. 95% of the time, the cameras remain 100% charged
