This would be great if the battery's lasted longer and also if they didn't have such a long response time to look at if I want to see my cameras, it takes over 30 seconds to make them activate when I'm not at the house on the same Wi-Fi. Anybody could do what they want in that time length so what is the point. They are mainly used now just to check on the kids in their rooms when they are asleep to make sure they are okay. If you want these for home defense don't expect them to work like they should maybe they would see them and be like oh no but other than that not worth it. My sister got a nest and hers response is faster and their half the price, pretty upsetting for me. Also I've had these for many years and finally got to review. Doesn't matter if you get the newer models it seems like they all are the same by the way arlo uses servers to transfer data...craptastic.

Even though these cameras are not 4k video quality, the resolutions is enough bang for your buck. The set up is super easy and quick with the Arlo app on your phone. The only downside is the sensitivity of the motion detection, which can get annoying at times with bee's just flying by. The alerts usually come with about a 2 second lag as well. Otherwise, we love the system and it does the job.

This product is able to view anywhere in the world. Picture, video clearly with high resolution 1080. Removable, chargeable...and a lot more great features.

Of all the setups I looked at this was the most affordable with the cloud app storing up to 4 cameras free, Setup and installation was easy and the phone app is easy to use and works great. My only complaint is it should come with a charger that charges the battery outside of the camera. I'll be adding two more cameras to my system this spring.

Bought the 4 cam system on black friday. Installed 2 of the a week later. Motion detection is ok but not great. The motion needs to be in a very specific part of the camera for them to detect. Then there's a few second lag to start recording, so you may just miss the motion completely. I knew about those two issues but assumed they wouldn't matter much. I can deal with them because that's the trade-off of having a battery powered system. The part that I can't get past is the drain on my iOS phone, even when not using the app at all and having all background processes turned off for the Arlo app. The app is still draining the battery. The only way to stop the drain is to completely close out of the app. If you leave it open in the background it will continue to suck the life out of your battery. It drains much faster than watching streaming videos on YouTube or Facebook. After much research I found out that this is a well documented problem and Netgear hasn't fixed it for months. Most of the time they try to blame the phone or Apple for the drain. YouTube had this same problem and they fixed it within 48 hours. Netgear hasn't fixed in in over 3 months, from what I understand. Steer clear of these cameras.

Great system that is easy to install and use. System has great video quality and really like the added features to the Arlo-Pro (two-way audio and siren).

These are awesome easy set up easy install they work well crisp picture during day a little fuzzy at night but if the motion lights come on they work fine.

I really like using the Arlo Pro camera system. My only complaints with not making this an excellent review is you are only limited to 5 cameras before you have to upgrade your account, which means a monthly fee, and the talk back feature with the cameras is a little hit and miss. It may be the cellular connection sometimes, but it doesn't work very well a lot of the times I try to use it. Otherwise, works really well and I would recommend it.

I bought the anti theft case from Amazon. Both cameras capture motion and audio great.

Purchased for my home and love it no wires, alerts can be sent directly to phone, one con: The two radio portion of the system work initially then and update to the the app happened and the two way radio access icon was gone so that feature is gone but customer service says there working on it it...alsoi purchased the 4 camera package and one camera wouldn't connect i took it back they replaced it with no hassle an I've had no issue since

my fifteen-year-old set it up pretty simple. Nice to tap into your own internet and watch what's going on in your house remotely. No subscription needed

Very happy with the Arlo Pro security camera system so far. Easy to install, clear pictures, rechargeable batteries are great idea,

Had to return first Arlo Pro with 4 cameras. Base station kept dropping wifi signal. Netgear sent out a batch with base problems with wifi. Second set works fine. Battery levels are stable at 97-100% after 4 weeks. One camera captures quite a bit so the battery has dropped 3%. The base station is stable and the alerts are fast even when away. Took advantage of the price reduction of $50. Plan to add one more camera and purchase one battery and charger. Still waiting on Arlo to release the solar power. Plan to add this to 2 outdoor cameras. I recommend this product.

This Arlo Pro is very easy to setup. App works as designed. A good internet speed is necessary for good quality videos. We are happy with this purchase.

We have been very happy with the purchase of the Arlo Pro. The security of knowing we can set the alarm when we are away, and the fact we can turn it on and see the house while we are away gives us a security we didn’t feel before our purchase.

Am satisfied with the product so far. Infrared and daylight work well. Only have used the infrared detector so far. Battery seems to be holding up ok, Cant see it lasting 6 months though. Bought a standalone charger as its not really practical to have to disconnect the camera to charge the battery and there is no way to charge the battery without the standalone charger or the camera body. Was a little disappointed it's only 720P resolution though, although I knew this going in. I'm sure 1080P would have been easy enough with the development of higher resolution versus price. I bought this product as it required no wiring, that was the main selling point. Overall a nice product and practical, easy to install. WiFi is very good, External storage option is handy, however disappointing that it can only be viewed through an external device. Viewing Software and interface on PC and IOS works well, however one downside to the system is if you lose internet connection to the cloud, the system will not record any data, not even to the external storage. Free cloud storage for 7 days was sufficient but not ideal. So gave the system 4 stars as it was what I was looking for, a security system easy to install with good features. 1 star was removed for the following reasons (1. Battery has to be charged in the camera body or have to purchase an external standalone charger. 2. Only 720P resolution 3. System does not record to external attached drive if Cloud access is not available 4. Have to disconnect the external storage drive to view recorded files through an external device). Overall satisfied with the product and quality. Would recommend, but be aware of the issues described above.

I bought these for my Mom. They were super easy to install. The image is clear and the audio is very good.

The system works as expected. One minus. Even when I usezoom in, my front door camera reacts for the passing by cars. Probably, we would need to install it in a different spot.

This is a great little camera system that I saved allot of money on versus having professional installation. The picture is ridiculously Crisp and the audio I can hear hear from eight houses down! The rechargeable batteries are great in the fact that they can be recharged but I do see them going down quite quickly overall. The only other thing is that I wish the radius of view was also a little bit wider because I had to set two cameras at the front of the house in order to see end to end. I was very surprised and amazed at the clarity, however And also the ease of set up!
