I am thrilled with these cameras. They provide far more vision and sound than I had expected. I wish the videos were a bit longer after they start recording, but I am using the free version of the software and I have not yet tried the subscription service. This system is easy to set up and understand. Arlo has a good support page and forum where my questions have been answered. I hope to be adding another camera to my Arlo "family" soon.

I seem to have a problem with the response time. The app will notify me of motion and will fail to connect several times before everything finally connects (WiFi, microphone etc.). By that time (more than a minute) the people at my door have walked away. Very frustrating.

The camera works good and has great resolution. One thing that I can’t get to work is the two way audio. You can hear what is going on on the camera. But when you speak on the microphone you can’t hear anything on the camera end so you can’t communicate with anyone on the camera end. This needs to be fixed since that is a expectation for the Arlo Pro.

I had high hopes for this camera system and overall I would say they are just ok. The picture quality is great, night mode is fairly good as well. I would say where these cameras do not perform well are the time it takes to turn the camera on and record when motion is detected.

I had the worst time getting them to work properly. The base station kept going on and offline frequently throughout the hour. I had spent over 30 hrs with Netgear, Comcast, and reading online various problem solving ideas. I was ready to return it after messing with it for 3 weeks. then one day, it started to work correctly and has been great ever since.

This was installed to watch our home. It has performed very well. Good video and alerting. The geofence works well too.
