Love this system and all of the features. The alarm is actually pretty loud and I love the microphone on both ends so you can head what's going on and actually talk through it (great for the front porch camera). My only negative critique would be that sometimes it's a little slow to load in the app

First time using a Security System in my home. So far it's working great!

very easy to set up took a total of 30 minutes to sync and put into position.

I need to charge them every week one at a time one day after another better than, The batteries once a month at the cost to $35.00 to $40.00 a month when i had the old ones. Still user friendly easy to set up and easy to remove.

One camera does not work properly going off line frequently. Four cycles of troubling shooting with tech support supports that the problem is within the one camera (the base station and the other cameras and all batteries perform as intended). I have asked them to allow me to send the one camera back for their inspection repair or replacement but they continue to respond asking more question often repeating previous requests. By the time I realized how this was going to proceed it was too late to ask Best Buy to exchange it. I recently purchased an add on camera to address my coverage concerns while working on resolving my camera problem. The arlo security system is very good I am pleased with it but I need to know technical problems can be addressed quickly since fundamentally security is at the core.

I wish the cameras were 1080p but the trade off is no wires. For my setup I didn't need continuous recording and didn't want to pay extra for storage or viewing so the Arlo setup is great. Video lag is as expected for a wireless setup. I was comparing this to Nest since I have the thermostat.
