Cameras set up easily and do exactly what we wanted.

first of all display stated cameras are 1080p he, they are not, they are 720p. Picture quality by today's standards is very poor. secondly geofencing does not work with multiple phones. after several hours of installing (the quickest part) & support search, resets & finally voice calls, I was advised that a bug does not allow multiple phones. sorry but deceptive selling & ineffective time wasting online support. the four cameras & base station (really a siren & not much more) will be returned this weekend. very disappointed in bestbuy & arlo.

We purchased the Arlo Plus security camera system. Cameras were simple to install, app was easy to download and set up. We have 2 cameras that completely cover the front areas of our home. We love how the app will notify when any motion is detected, we can instantly view what is going on. We really like this system so far.

We added these cameras for our driveways and our back patio. Only draw back is I wish they were color. the black and white just makes it difficult to identify animals that cross in front of the cameras. Otherwise we love them and they work great.

Love the item. Worth the money and its a good product.

We love our Arlo cameras. They gave us great peace of mind the first time we vacationed and left our puppy with drop in puppy sitters. We use them all the time to check in on the dog, and will mount one or two outside in the spring for security cameras.

My wife and I bought the Arlo pro for our security camera system. While the initial fee is a little high, we appreciate not having a monthly payment. The system was really easy to set up and adjust. I have already recommended it to my siblings.

I have a music room set up in my house with a lot of expensive equipment in there. I also have lots of teenagers coming and going all the time. So I wanted a way that I could keep an eye on my things and make sure none of it got damaged or used when I wasn't home. Enter the Arlo system! Out of the box I was a little frustrated...mainly just getting it out of the box was frustrating. Hassle-free packaging this is not! But once I got the cameras out of the box the plastic wrap off each of the little batteries (which wasn't easy) and everything else out, it was a very easy system to set up. It probably took me less time to get the system up and running than it did to get the cameras out of the box. I plugged in the base station, downloaded the app for my phone, sync'd up the 2 cameras (which you do by simply pressing a button in the base station and then on the camera) and I was good to go! I loved how easy it was to set up, and how easy it was to mount the cameras. You just need to put 1 small screw in the wall, and then the cameras magnetically stick to the wall plate. Mounting that way also makes it very easy to adjust the cameras to make sure you get the perfect angle! The app was very straightforward and easy to use. I was easily able to see both camera's live feed. I could adjust the motion sensitivity of each camera, and also set it up for a schedule of when I wanted the cameras to be on. I ran some tests of how quickly the camera would sense motion, and how quickly it would alert me about that motion. I found that the camera immediately started recording, and within probably less than 3 seconds I was getting a notification on my smartwatch (that came from my phone) that was letting me know one of my cameras was detecting movement. Then within seconds I was able to monitor and see what was going on in the room. As far as a security system goes...you can't ask for much more than that. Easy setup, works great, and has excellent video quality. I also have to mention I was stunned at how well the night vision was on these things! Crystal clear picture even in a pitch black room! Now to the one thing that gives me a little cause for concern. In order for the cameras to record video, your internet connection has to be working. So if your internet is down...these cameras won't work. They obviously won't be able to notify you of anything, but they won't record video either. I would think it would have made more sense to either have Micro-SD cards in each of the cameras since they are battery operated so that even if there was a power outage, video could still be recorded. ...or at the very least, have the base station be able to record video, even if the internet connection was out. There are 2 USB ports on the base station that nobody really knows what they are for (except for charging the cameras) maybe in the future you might be able to plug in a thumb drive and be able to record video to it. But then I guess they couldn't charge for the cloud storage...so I have a feeling that won't be happening anytime soon. One other small gripe is that the cameras are white. I think they would be easier to conceal if they were black. ...and yes, I know you can buy black rubber skins for them...but that's just more money you would have to spend. Overall I think it's an amazing system and works very well for what it is and records great video to protect your home when you aren't there. As long as you are aware of that one flaw and can be OK with it...I would highly recommend this system to anyone looking for a good set of wireless cameras for their home or business!

So easy to use..great for monitoring the kids at home

I purchased this to see how effective it would be to identify vehickes coming down my driveway. It was OK but the Arlo-Pro 2 was much better in identifying license plates at about 20 feet. The one drawback is it picks up any movement within its range so you have to edit these hits every day. Great versital unit !
