Cameras are clear, but having them run pushes my internet cap past the limit. Would recommend if you have unlimited internet..

Returned after a week after discovering the limitation of the motion sensor... if you view the setup video which instructs you to put the camera where the motion detection can see when someone crosses the detection zone, if you walk straight towards the camera it does not trigger the motion detection... because it's battery power it does not record 24/7 which is what I need. Got a Nest Outdoor Camera works great.

Love the simplicity and the no monthly subscription. As long as you know the limitations of them you’ll love them.

I read reviews on the Pro versus the regular Arlo. Based on the reviews we decided to go with the Pro. The camera itself is small and easy to hide. The video can be choppy and it's very sensitive to any movements! We did change the sensitivity but that didn't seem to help much. Also, the battery life isn't that great! This is our first security camera, not sure we would buy another one.

I have set up one camera inside to monitor the pet and one on the deck in the backyard. The base is compatible with the SmartThings and Google Home.

I bought the wireless system at Best Buy and it came with four cameras, four magnetic mounts, and one fixed mount. I did buy the battery charger and wish it came with the system instead of separately. I also bought a second fixed mount but the magnets are very strong and work well. I am not a tech savy person and usually have problems setting something like this up. The system was very easy to set up. The base station was set next to my modem and plugged in without any problems. Mounting the cameras was easy and required only a drill and screwdriver, aside from the ladder needed to get some of the cameras up as high as I wanted them. When you install the cameras you can position them by looking at the screen of your cellphone to see the view the camera has. I tweaked them cameras as needed to get the view I wanted.Once the cameras were set up and an activated they worked just fine and have continued to work well for over two weeks now. You can control them from your cellphone. I turn hem on and off as I choose. Since they are motion activated there are times when I am at home and don't want my dogs setting them off all day so I turn that camera off. The system is easy to use so turning cameras on and off is simple. When a camera detects motion it sends an alert to your cellphone and one to your email. It records a 10 second clip and shuts off. If the motion continues it will record multiple 10 second clips. So if I am out front of my house and working on my car I turn the camera off so I don't continue to get alerts. Simple enough. Now lets talk about performance. During the day the camera in my back and side yards will pick up my small dogs and send an alert. The camera I have aimed at the front driveway will pickup cars and people. It does not pick up people walking in the street though. I don't care about that and would think if I changed the positioning of the camera it would pick them up. The color is good as is the images. At night the the cameras will pick up cars and people but the images are not as good since the lighting is much less. I suppose I could add more lighting but the cameras do their job. Don't expect daytime images at night. It should also be remembered that bad weather, such as fog, rain and snow will limit the outdoor cameras. Just being realistic. Also, the cameras take a few seconds to detect movement so some of the clips start "late", but when you think about that it makes sense. I don't want every tree branch moving in the wind to trigger the cameras and send an alert. For me this seems normal and is fine. For example, if someone walks up my driveway it detects them and starts the video. If the tree branches are moving on a breezy day it does not. Also, remember you can turn the cameras on to "Live" and actually watch the area covered from them in real-time. I did that on Halloween to see when kids were coming up the street and to my door. Lastly you have pretty good sound on these cameras so you can hear your neighbors talking when you have the cameras on. I could hear my neighbors across the street talking to the kids when they opened their doors. Be careful what you say if your neighbors have a system or their own. Overall I am very satisfied and love the system.

Great product. I use it in my 2 story home with 1 camera downstairs and the other monitoring the upstairs. I use the geolocation feature so it's only monitoring when I'm away from home.

Easy to install, and get set up. The Sales person told me that it should last about 1 month on a full charge. Not the case. Maybe 3 days. Which means you have to recharge or replace batteries constantly. They point was to have something completely wireless, which it is, but if the battery does not last then it is kinda worthless.

You get a much better picture mounting these on the outside of your home. Only down fall is that the batteries are kind of expensive.

Easy to set up, the only complaint I have is that the alarm is inside the house and part of the console and not part of the actual camera which would be a great feature to scare off folks.
