    Purchased camera to replace my Arlo Essential camera, I have been with the Arlo family for over 7 years and they are quality cameras. Best Buy really packaged and shipped my order in a timely manner and I will continue to use both.

    The quality is much better than previous cameras. The new app experience sucks though. Arlo needs to add scrolling through videos like they used to have.

    These are operated via a phone app which is not exactly the best. You can't turn cameras off and on individually. This would be helpful so you can have your outdoor cameras running while your indoor cameras are off. You get a notification every time the camera detects something (which is what they are for), but when you are home and walking around, it can be annoying. The wifi connection is not great. They disconnect constantly, and in order for you to reconnect, you have to manually reset them. This is obnoxious when you have outdoor cameras that are mounted high off the ground, so you have to get a ladder everytime. It's also frustrating when it happens while you are away from home, which again, is the whole point of have security cameras. There have been several times when we believe there has been an intruder (because we see things have been moved, or placed in a spot), but the camera doesn't detect anything. All in all, buy a different security system. These ones have been pretty inconsistent and unreliable for us.

    Good resolution, easy to connect , obviously one of the best home cameras , need to see about the battery life , because I feel doesn’t keep long enough but other than that ok.

    Horrible Customer Service / Great Camera

    I hate to give it 3 stars because the camera is great, but arlo customer service is horrendous. I couldn’t add the cameras to my Google home so I removed them and tried to re-add. They are no longer able to connect and after several chats and emails, arlo customer service stopped responding and nothing was fixed. I can still view on arlo app fine so will keep it since I have a few cameras.

    I have had 2 sets of these. I returned the first after several months because one camera would not eject to replace the battery. I had to use a blade to pry it out. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Arlo customer service. They kept wanting videos of me trying to eject the camera. And their system wouldn't receive a 3 second video because it was too big. The second set worked fine for about 7 months. One day after changing the battery in one it would not reconnect to my internet. Customer service said it was my router not dropping to 2.4G. My provider sent a new, upgraded router. Over the course of the next week I spent probably 8 hours on the phone with Arlo customer service. They eventually had me disconnect the other 2 cameras which then would not reconnect either. Again, my wifi was the problem. I had 8 other devices (computers, phones, printers) connected via wifi. Four were connected at 2.4G and four at 5G. I am returning them never to buy Arlo again. The product was a problem but the so called customer service was the worst I have ever had to deal with!

    I seen these cameras online look them up just to see how to work and when I purchase them and install them on my house they work fine no problems no issues easy to install and I love you
