While I was away from home, checking in on my kids through the app and speaking to them was helpful. It made it so easy and accessible for my nanny. It was also clearly visible and covered the whole living room space. 10/10

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The first 30 days (when the Arlo plan trial is active) everything is smooth and perfect but if you choose not to enrol and go with local storage using the base and a flash drive, the cameras will randomly loose connection, crazy slow when loading in, the option to view videos while on local will sometimes not even show. Camera quality is good but very frustrating to work with.

Do not buy if you do not want a monthly subscription fee because they are useless without it. You only get live view, you don't even get notifications of movement so you know to look at live view

Battery life is horrible

Though for whatever reason only 2 of the camera's live feed/recording is in 2k and one of the cameras (even though it records the exact same as the other) kills the battery in 2 days. They only record for a maximum of 5 minutes at a time and you've got to pay like $17 a month in order to have any functions at all. I would invest in a different system, there's a reason these cameras are only $200

I feel super safe now with these cameras around my house hold highly recommend for anyone looking to purchase a set of security cameras!
