I have both Arlo Pro 4 and 5s cameras, and within the last few months, every single one of them started experience extreme battery depletion within a week! I used to get anywhere from 1.5 to 2 months on a single charge. 3 cameras are only 1 year old; 3 are 1.5 years old, 3 are about 2 years old. My theory is a firmware update was pushed and is causing this problem. Its the only reasonable explanation that all 9 cameras of different ages would suddenly not last a week! At $50 each, its asking lot to have to already replace 9 batteries. Even if I did, I suspect it won't fix the problem. Besides this problem, the app is basically basic. With the money I'm paying for the subscription service, the app should have a lot more capabilities, especially more automation than offered currently.

Best buy offers one of the best and inexpensive products

These are absolute garbage!!! Brand new out of box one of the charging connectors fell apart with a spring flying across the room. Housing is cheap plastic and to remove battery you have to use a little tool that is so small you will definitely lose. Before you lose it the little cheap screw that pops out battery section will break. These will not last! After screwing up solar panels and mounting cameras all over they do not detect motion worth a dam. Sure during the day they do when we don’t need them but at night you have to be 5’ away on some of them. Waste of time and money they are going back.

Great cameras just make sure to get solar panels too

Batteries die faster than I expected but its MN. Over all I love the peace of mind when we are away!

For easy at home security this is the system you want! Many different ways to set alerts. View from camera is clear and night visibility is awesome.

Added this kit to my existing Arlo cameras. Right now there is one battery pack I’m keeping my eye on… seems to not last as long as the other two. Happy with my purchase so far

I am unable to rate this item. I also bought a new base station. When made the change of base station a new Arlo app appeared. I am now unable to load the new base station and therefore I am unable to up load the cameras.

The product is okay. After 4-5 months of use,I noticed that the battery drains way too fast and I have to be constantly charging them.

Didn't know it didn't come with a base but I bought one for it.

Bought this. When we went to hook them up sll but 1 worked. Called Best Buy and i explained my problem. I told them it was a 3 pack. Said i could just bring it bsck and they would replace it. So i drove quite some wayonly to bd told no. I would have to bring all back. 2 wete already up n mounted. So upset and did not go back. Said they were aware of problem.

Love my Arlo system and every time I stop in Best Buy I receive excellent customer service.

I love the Arlo Cameras and the quality it provides. The picture could be much clearer when magnified. However it works well.

Very similar to the Pro 4. It's paired with a solar panel so it just keeps working.

Good product , but difficult to configure and join the network as you will have to disable the 5ghz first
