Brand new out of box one of the charging connectors fell apart with a spring flying across the room. Housing is cheap plastic and to remove battery you have to use a little tool that is so small you will definitely lose. Before you lose it the little cheap screw that pops out battery section will break. These will not last! After screwing up solar panels and mounting cameras all over they do not detect motion worth a dam. Sure during the day they do when we don’t need them but at night you have to be 5’ away on some of them. Waste of time and money they are going back.

The cost of the camera and then the almost mandatory subscription (you can but a hub to local record) and the absolute SNAIL PACE activation is just too much. I have gigabit internet and when it takes the cameras almost 8 seconds to respond, that’s an issue. Tapo andEufy are hands down better option with no sub.

I couldn’t add the cameras to my Google home so I removed them and tried to re-add. They are no longer able to connect and after several chats and emails, arlo customer service stopped responding and nothing was fixed. I can still view on arlo app fine so will keep it since I have a few cameras.
