The cameras are very easy to pair with the phone app, easy to install battery and mount. I have had my cameras on line for about 2 weeks now and my battery power has only dropped about 13%. I am very happy with the ease of pulling up one of my 3 Cameras and viewing any part of my property I want to see.

This camera is wireless, the Beteria lasts a long time and the resolution is very good

I like these cameras, they come in pretty clear and have did its job for me. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there are times I feel like it catches things a little slow. My old cameras I felt like picked things up a lot faster, but overall this camera is a decent choice and for the price it isn’t bad. It records, and when it’s on a very low battery it will still take a snapshot until you change and charge the battery. The battery life is pretty good as well, so you aren’t taking it down every two days to charge which is also nice. It lasts days.

This is a great security camera. I use it to monitor our patio, which has a sidewalk on the other side. With the Arlo software, I am able to map out a zone that does not include the sidewalk, thus avoiding alerts every time someone walks by. I ended up ordering a second battery and charger so that it relatively easy to swap on the low battery for a fully charged battery. While I am on the 30-day free trial of the Arlo service, I plan on paying the monthly subscription for all the benefits it brings. The Pros: Excellent video quality; Long lasting battery (about 4 weeks with power management set to "Optimized". The Cons: Confusing app, which took a couple of days of trial-and-error to get the settings correct; As mentioned with other reviews, there is a long delay between an alert situation being detected and the notification actually arriving at my phone (this is undrestandable); Lack of a desktop widget that allows me to change from "Arm" mode to "Standyby" mode on my Android devices...it isn't rocket science!

Have to Say 200% Improvement from the Earlier Models, with Battery Life amazing, and Picture Quality is fantastic. This, although there is a Learning Curve to Achieve these Remarkable Standards, has brought, FOR ME, Arlo back into prospective of Standing Tall on the Security Cam Market. A new Zoom and Follow Mode is surprisingly accurate, for a Stationary Security Cam, was quite surprised. Must add though, Night Vision Funky, as only Black and White, as Color Night Time Vision is touted as a “Feature” in this cam, but all good once you Play Around with all these Features. New Arlo Mobile App Interface is Highly Customizable, and provides an individual preference that improves the approach to One’s Own Needs. So far, a happy camper. Two weeks, battery hasn’t budged with Nightly Racoons Playground in View…Who Knew all that was going on, as my Older Arlo Pro’s had Never Detected anything but Big Humans.

I had an Arlo pro4 go out on me and my geek squad protection covered most of the cost of upgrading to these. They seem a little better. The battery life has improved. My only problem I have is the one in my front yard looks up the side of the house and doesn't activate until people are almost past it. That may be my fault if i dont have the settings right.

These cameras are great! They are easy to install and the operation is simple and straight forward. Wonderful pictures and sound. Battery life seems to be good so far no issues there. I love these cameras and they are far better than others that I have had (starts with a B).Definitely worth the price.

We are happy with our purchase of the Arlo System. Video quality and ease of installation are great. The only negative is that in order to record video, you must subscribe to a service, which is $20+ a month. I did not anticipate this when I purchased, but I am still happy with the cameras and video quality.

The video quality is overall pretty good. However I'm not impressed with the camera's ability to detect different types of motion and send the appropriate alerts. I get constant notifications that there's an animal or a vehicle and after watching the recorded event I can see it is completely inaccurate. In that aspect I think it's really hard to rely on the battery life because even if you tweak the settings, it still gets confused rather easily. Also, it starts recording a few seconds too late, so often motion events are kind of missed. Especially when it takes another few seconds to send the signal for the notification through the app, and then to load the live feed, it's been about 30 seconds since the motion started... and often you've completely missed the action and it's too late. I have great wifi and even purchased wifi extenders and it doesn't seem to help. Arlo as a company needs to step up their app and technology beyond just having cameras that can shoot in high def video. Overall they do what they're supposed to, but just not as well as you'd expect for the price tag.

Worth the money. I originally bought a cheaper camera that had poor sound and the visual was awful. I traded in for this Arlo camera and the quality and sound is so much better. Plus the app is extremely easy to use! I do however wish it had better night visual; maybe it doesn’t and I don’t know the button to click for it.

Three-pack was a great value. Set up was super easy. So far camera has worked great, easily identifying persons, animals, and motion. Fingers crossed it continues to work this well.

Good security camera 2k recording, easy installation and battery swap is made easy with a release button under the mount. App can use some updates as when selecting a recorded video loads the one on top instead of chosen one.

Super clear image; easy to navigate the app; easy to recharge the batteries! I had previously used Blink cameras and didn’t love the battery situation or the way the mounts worked. The Arlo mount is much more sturdy and maneuverable in my opinion!

Think they are great so far. They do very nice in the dark you have full color and play back is great. I don't like that you have to sign up for a service plan to see any recordings after 30 days. But I think they are great. Batteries last a long time I now have 8 cameras at 2 different locations and they are prefect.

more important than my personal insights, the wizards at Wirecutter / NY Times feel that this is the security camera to buy. Their review was based on the prior model, the Pro 4 for wireless outdoor cameras. But the Pro 5 offers better battery life and it also supports dual-band Wi-Fi. So I felt this was even better. It was purchased as a gift to my daughter, who has noted an increase of automobile break-ins in her neighborhood for vehicles parked outdoors at night. This will ease both our anxieties. This camera offers their opinion of the best combination of detailed video performance, specialized alerts, and easy installation. And it is compatible with all the Smart Home systems widely used (notably including Apple HomeKit, Google, Alexa, etc.)

Easy to install and connect. Love the picture quality especially at night with the spotlight. It's really nice having a backup battery to swap out when a battery dies. I previously had Arlo pro 2 which I loved not paying a monthly fee but the camera quality on the 5s is definitely much better. The only thing I haven't figured out is if the base can be removed from the camera. That would be nice if you don't want to mount the camera.

We have 3 of these each on a separate side of our house and are getting a fourth one because we are so happy with the product. They connect to your home wifi and as long as your wifi is fast enough they provide really clear video capture, even at night we can clearly see a face on them. The customizable settings for notifications are convenient and allow us to avoid repeated notifications about our pets when they're outside.

Very good quality. The cameras were easy to install where you want to put them. The down fall is it needs to come with an extra battery
