We have 4 cams for our house front back carport and inside. Super easy to setup and install. Does everything we need and more.1080p video, live feeds from our phones, library of short vids shot from motion detector, each camera can use voice to speak through which is reassuring to my dogs, and a siren button if an intruder is found. Awesome system.

This is a great system if you don’t need constant streaming. It helps detect sound and movement and no wires!!!! I have had the system for two months now and haven’t had to charge the cameras once. I highly recommend if you need a wireless system that’s easy to use.

The Arlo Pro is probably the best buy of all the completely wireless cameras. It has a good battery life with fairly cheap extra batteries & rechargeable, 2 way communication, good HD quality, 7 days free cloud storage with option of usb hard drive storage attached to base station, indoor/outdoor, good start time up for live viewing, lots of camera adjustments to suit your situation such as scheduling and length of recording, 100 db siren that can be activated by phone, GEO fencing, good nite vision, plus all the standards of security cameras, and it is made by Netgear. It is not cheap, but when you consider how much you want to spend for convenience, quality, security, reliability, safety and everything else, this is probably the best buy. Get it on sale if you can-which means buy it at the end of the year. The main thing I don't like about it is that the camera can be stolen or damaged, but that goes for all of them-mount it high up. Ring cameras offer a free replacement if stolen, but there is a cost for cloud storage per camera and they are more expensive. Get it at Best Buy if you can - they match on line and store prices and you can see and touch it and you have much easier return ability.

Bought this as I wanted an all wireless solution. Works great! Slight delay with video, but not a problem for me. Motion detection works great and batteries seem to last quite a while. After about one month, only down to around 80% charge, even after several very cold days/nights. Night vision works well as well. Will continue to add cameras.

Awesome system No wires and easy to install Easy to use app

Arlo Wireless camera system is great for applications where you don’t want to run wires to the exterior of your house. Syncing each camera is easy and quick. Having rechargeable batteries with onscreen notifications when they become low makes this very convenient. There are some downsides to Arlo such as the durability is not very good when one of the cameras gets dropped. The resolution of the cameras also make images of people and objects a bit blurry unless they’re really close. The Motion detector could use some work because an object is almost out of frame by the time it starts to record as there are some latency issues that still need to be addressed. The camera does not perform well in low light situations when the object is more than 12 to 15 feet away. You are only allowed to have five cameras with free cloud storage, unless you pay for additional storage to add more cameras.

I am very happy with this purchase. I wanted a wireless camera system that I could relocate quickly and easily. I had the two cameras set up and working in less than an hour, one on the porch and one in the living room. I customized the default active mode so that the camera will record for the duration of the activity. I have the camera on the porch alerting on movement and the one in the living room alerts on both motion and sound. I also have them set to record at the best quality. I was concerned about the rechargeable battery life but so far it's been excellent. I have had them up and running for a month now and one camera is at 92% and the other is at 90% so battery life looks good. Keep in mind that these aren't meant to provide full time, real-time coverage.

Purchased a two-camera starter set and base station for outdoor use and was so pleased with the simple install, excellent quality video and free cloud storage that two weeks later I purchased two additional cameras for indoor use. I have had my Arlo Pro cameras for at least eight months and have charged the outdoor cameras once in all that time and have not yet had to charge the indoor cameras. Battery life is excellent. One redesign feature that I would like to see implemented in the future is a more secure hardware install that would prevent someone from easily stealing one of the cameras; the current setup allows easy removal of the camera simply by unscrewing the camera from its base.

Purchased camera package with two cameras and Arlo base. The cameras would not connect to the base so I called support and they told me to exchange the product after trying multiple different things. Picked up the new cameras found out they were doing the same thing. So I left the cameras until the next day and they just connected and worked automatically. After the cameras started working they looked good. When you zoom in the picture becomes a little distorted. The camera resolution is only 720p and for the price they should have been 1080p quality. Overall They have a qood picture and work day to day with few issues. They do have false alarms where they alert you and nothing is happening. Other than that there have been a few times when the app will not allow access and you need to reload the app and it seems to work fine. Overall they are good basic camera.

Setup slightly complicated but not too bad. The cameras are very high quality. rechargeable batteries make this way less of a hassle than the others. Arlo app is fantastic and free monitoring. Sound sensitivity and two way talking could be better. pretty happy with motion detection. Overall very good. 4 1/2 stars so I will round up.

I love this product! I have referred several friends to the Arlo system. So easy to setup and use, plus the monitoring is free for up to 5 cameras. This set was for my grandparents - yes, it is that easy to use! I like the fact that you can recharge the batteries. And they last a long time - even when setup to be triggered easily.

Very easy to use, easy set up, and nice clear picture

Setup was a snap. The image quality is terrific. The sound quality of recordings was way better than I expected. Normal conversation is easily heard. The phone app is top notch. I checked out the Arlo support forums and they seem really helpful as well. Really happy with this system and have recommended it to several friends.

Step-up was quick and easy. Battery was nearly fully charged out of the box. live viewing on camera made viewing the desired area easy to establish. Only problem is you can't use the viewing area selection function unless the camera is AC powered. This prevents blocking off public areas that provide unwanted motion notices.

We are very happy so far with the cameras. Only issue was setting up the log in for the app. With 2 of us it’s tricky but finally figured it out. Figuring out the geo fencing with 2 phones was also tricky, but after researching online we figured it out. Overall the cameras are great, and pleased with the quality of the video.

I have been using this Arlo Pro Camera for 6 months and I am really satisfied of its performance. The video quality is very good and the battery last very long. I have only charged it once and it still has plenty of remaining battery life as of this writing. You will never regret purchasing this camera to secure your home.

Great camera, easy set up, Great picture and sound

The main unit was very easy to connect to home network. The cameras were even easier to setup. Good image in a small package. System been up for over three weeks & batteries still at 60% or more on all cameras.
