Worth the money compared to the other brands out there.

Purchased these to catch a serial dog crapper who refuses to pick up the remnants. Only problem was these cameras were so inconsistent in picking up movement that they are basically useless.

I lake this camara for watching my dog what they doing.

This is a good product. I love the software app and it was easy to setup. My only issue is that the range of the motion sensors is a bit short. Overall it's worth the money.

For the price there should be a charger included! If placed in area with high activity the batteries will need charged about once a month. To keep backup for free USB is needed in home station.

easy to setup, not a fan of recharging the cameras but the battery does last a couple of weeks between charges. night vision only good for about 10 ft resolution-wise

I purchased new from BB, I took is home and set it up the next day. One camera worked the other didn't. I agreed to try a new battery after spending about an hour with their lam tech support with no luck. I asked to have the battery sent overnight because I was going to be out of town, they refused. They delivered while I was out of town 7 days later, (I wanted the cameras because I was going to be out of town). when I returned the new battery was not the issue. Arlo tech support wanted to trouble shoot more. I asked them to send me a new camera (after all it is a new unit), they said not without trouble shooting. I told them no, I did enough trouble shooting. I gave them one final chance to get this right... asked them to overnight a camera and I'll return the other bad one. They said they can't overnight so it would be another week, but they needed to trouble shoot before doing that. I said "I'm done". I returned the entire thing to BB and they were good about the return. I would never buy another product from Arlo or their parent company.

The hardest part about setting up these cameras is deciding where and how to mount them. I was able to use the supplied wall mounts (silver half circle) for 2 of my cameras. The other 2 needed length adjustable wall mounts. I had to get them far enough from any walls on the side of the cameras to get a good night image. If the cameras are mounted too close to the wall, the IR LEDs reflect off the wall and make the rest of the image very dark. Sync’ing them up with the base station was very easy. The app is very user friendly. Before buying the Arlo Pro’s, I read a lot about the motion detection issues with the original Arlo’s. These are my first set of security cameras so I don’t have any real reference but I feel the motion detection works just ok. I expected more. My cameras are mounted about 10ft high and seem to detect motion 15-20ft away. From what I’ve seen, the camera starts recording about 1 second after detecting the motion. However, since it seems to take a while for the motion to be detected, a lot of the action has already passed by the time the recording starts. With that said, I’m still able to catch the mail man pulling up and dropping mail off. And I’m still trying to fine tune the motion detection sensitivity so maybe this will get better. For my purposes, I’m satisfied with the Arlo Pro’s. We’ll see how the rechargeable batteries hold up. These obviously wouldn’t work for people that want to constantly view or record footage. But I had all 4 of these cameras mounted/set up in about an hour including installing and adjusting the settings in the app. With my limited DIY skills, it would’ve taken me several days to try to set up a wired system. Honestly, I probably would’ve ended up paying someone to install the system. So anytime I have an issue with the Arlo Pro’s, I remind myself of the compromise I made.
