I only gave 3 out of 5 stars because the camera freezes quite frequently. Other than the occasional freeze-ups, camera shops clear video footage and I like the fact than you can store up footage up to 7 days free. Does have about a 2 sec lag time. Okay camera, but I cannot recommend it until Arlo work out the connectivity issues.

This is perfect for someone looking for a single camera. This is a stand-alone unit that doesn't require the hub and works amazingly well. I use this in the kids room it is also tied in with my 6 camera arlo pro set. Been great so far

I needed an easy to set up and use camera for surveillance purposes. The set up was seamless with the camera and app up and running in about 5 minutes from unboxing to viewing. I like the historical recordings that can be viewed for 7 days on the app. The talk function is especially useful and loud enough to get the attention of anyone within 10 to 15 feet. Ive had it running for 3 months with no problems. I am planning to buy 1 or 2 more.

I have the original arlo camera for years now. Decide to try out the Q from a sale. It was very easy to install and the camera get amazing clear image from HD quality. It does have two way audio which is a plus. All it takes is power through USB and wifi connection. The only complain I have is, there is a slight delay which viewing the live video feed, which is understandable due to true wireless connection, and there is a delay for two way audio as well. And you have to have a strong wifi range if you decide to run this far from the router.

I have been using these cameras for a while and the hardware them selves is great for the price point. Video is clean and of good quality but dont expect to see good detail of some ones face after about 50-100 feet especially in low lighting/night mode. The app however has been recently improved but its still clunky and has issues connecting to the cameras and there is a large delay in what you are seeing.

Very easy to install, clear picture, love that you can pick the area that you want to be alerted.

I have this setup from my window facing my doorway. I subscribed to the $10 CVR plan. But the thing works great. I get alerts every time there is movement. Night is a little difficult because of the reflection from the window. So I bought an outdoor camera to replace this. Also there is a little delay sosometimes, the video shows the tailend of a car driving by,etc. I am happy though as I mainly got it to monitor people coming to my door.

If everything goes smoothly this is the easiest install. However there is a lot of issues wth connecting and staying connected. (Not my network because everything else works fine). You almost always have to hard reset. Also when updating firmware on a few of them it kept saying updated on details but there would be a exclamation saying to update.

When I was looking for a security camera at Best Buy, I was told this camera was the “Gold Standard” of security cameras. I took that with a grain of salt, but bought the camera, thinking that if I did not like it I could bring it back. We took it home and installed it. We have never looked back on that decision. It is such a great piece of equipment, and then you throw in the free cloud storage and it is a no brainer. We are now planning on getting a few more to augment our home security system.

Love 5ye cloud storage and image quality. Works great with my arlo pro system.

After our first one of these, was very happy with how it worked and even the 15-second-clip free recording service (with option to buy continuous recording when needed).. So we bought two more.. (Warning, you cannot buy an unlimited number of cameras, your internet upload speed may limit you, these are HD video streams over the uplink). My only suggestion would be to consider the 'protection plan' (no questions asked, i was told) as it's easy for one of these to fall if you put it on the edge of a shelf or the like.

This is a great camera. The quality and the audio is clear. Easy to install, just pull and play.
