I picked up this camera after returning the Samsung SmartCam for dropping signal. I have been very happy with this camera and the service provided by netgear. I did not subscribe and am using the free service. It is fine for my needs.

nice feed, chose this because you werent required to pay monthly for saving videos. basic plan holds a weeks worth of vids. then i can save needed on my phone. had this for a year now and had to reset it once after i felt it was slowing down. now its like brand new. great product

Great easy to set works great msked you feel this product is a must for everyone it shows that you are safe and you have feeling of safety and security the savings on insurance helps also it is a product that is made with great material and workmanship over all it was worth the price

I debated between this model and the Nest camera. I ultimately chose this model due to the free 7 day cloud recording service. It came in incredibly handy when I needed it. The noise and motion detection are touchy but I'd rather have that problem than a unit that doesn't go off.

I feel so much more secure for myself and my kids. I can see what they are doing if i leave the house for 10 min....they dont remember its there, so i see them goofing off and also have 2-way conversations. I like that i can arm or disarm motion sensor.

Netgear has really stepped up with the Arlo security system. With this addition, we now have five cameras (four outside and one inside) which gives us solid coverage of our house. The app is easy to use and the cameras are easy to install. This was exactly what we were looking for.

The Arlo app and system is very user friendly but the quality of the camera for the price is lacking. I’m not expecting 4K quality but it could better. The motion sensor is super sensitive

Easy to integrate to Smart things. The camera perfectly understands the "home" and "away" functions, and I avoid receiving motion or sound alerts when I'm at home. The resolution is amazing, and the free cloud storage for 7 days works well for me.

Good build and looks. The 2 way audio is really poor quality and often causes a disconnection. Video is very nice though. Worth a buy for video but so are others

This does everything I wanted it to do. The resolution is unbelievable and I like the ability for everything to be stored in the cloud so no one can break in and take a DVR recorder and all the evidence with them. Plus the two-way audio is very helpful.

Works great as long as a light is on, says in has 25' of night vision, unfortunately it only allows 2 - 3' before all you see is shadowing, excellent app.

tough to install, sometimes inexplicably quits running. Reboot, works fine for a while then, poof, out it goes again. Great daylight image. IR not as good.

great picture/sound quality. One downfall is the couple second delay in motion when initially activated (by either sound or motion). Could be a big difference in seeing activity that you would like to.

I use these to monitor my condo...which is vacant 7-8 months/year. Set-up is easy...plug-in electric, so no need to replace batteries, and Arlo yearly subscription is very reasonable. I run 10 of them and it is like have a 24/7 house sitter in place.

I use this as a security camera and so I can also keep an eye on my dog during the day. It does make a slight noise when switches from day to night vision. Other than that, its great.

I wish the camera could be set for large person movement (I have 10 lbs dogs and even they set off the motion alerts, so I tend to turn the camera off when not monitoring so I do not get so many alerts)

Excellent device with very useful alert notifications. A recommendation for the netgear arlo team if geo fencing also include option of including radius less than current small or specific radius of home as this is useful in certain situations.

Have used this for about a year and have found it reliable. There have been no instances of interruption due to the unit not functioning properly. Very good tech support for this and my other Arlo cameras.

Can't say enough good things about this little camera. It is awesome. Motion and sound sensors. The smart phone app is great. Able to watch live and videos. Stores they by time and date. And I can add another camera easily through the app!!!

The Q is fine for an indoor cam if you need one, but I find they lose connectivity way more than the Pro.
