These cameras work great for indoors. They are not the easiest to set up and now after two years one is not working with the power source.

The Arlo Q started out great. The quality of the video was very good and the alerts worked well. After using it about 1 month, it just stopped working. Tried reset - nothing. Tried different power adapter & cable - nothing. Arlo e-mail support also won't work, so I now have a useless camera 1 month after purchase. Probably can't return now since it's just over 30 days. Buyer beware! Video was good, but apparently longevity is horrible.

I really like this monitor, and the software is very easy to use. However I hate the 30 to 45 second delay between real time and what streams to your phone.

I was let down to say the least based on the rating this camera got along with the good reviews. From the moment I started the setup process I already ran into issues with the unit. Constant connectivity issues and connection problems with the unit and the media server made for a rather useless security camera. The unit needs to be physically unplugged to restart it when it losses connectivity with the wifi which is often not possible when away from home. If you check on the support forums you will see the same issues coming up again and again, and the arlo techs seem to offer work arounds instead of a fix for the issue. I returned the secuirty camera for one by a different brand and have had no problems so I know the issue was not with my network or on my end it is also installed in the same location I had the arlo.

It looked like a great product, but we ended up returning because it would never connect to there system. Spent 5 hours trying to make it work and it only made us mad.

The equipment works as expected. However the subscription services from the vendor website are lacking, when the website is working. Not as reliable as expected.

I wanted camera with audio and also continuous recording...these cameras seemed to offer that. I thought they were quite expensive but worth it if they offered the above things. Once I got them home and did further research, I found that the cloud storage was very expensive. It was $199.00 a year for 1st camera and 2nd camera was half price.. After paying $200.00 for each camera I was unwilling to pay that for recording especially since I bought 2 of them and planned on adding more.

I have several various camera located on my property.....ex. Ring, Nest. Thought I'd give Arlo a try..... I returned the camera today. I found the app to be cumbersome, account set-up was difficult as I received an error message that my email was already in use, as an example. Camera capabilities were limited to the other types I currently use. The Arlo Q is not a "bad" camera, there are just other, better options available.

Clarity is wonderful. Phone app is a little clunky. Can only connect via 2.4 signal which is weaker in my home. I'll keep it for now.

The ease of setup, quality of picture/video, 7 days of free cloud storage, user friendly app, and ability to integrate with Arlo's wireless camera option has made this a great experience! Even though the main reason I bought the Q was due to integrating into the wireless Arlo cameras as well, I would still recommend it as a stand-alone device. Nest charges for cloud storage. Piper NV has free storage, but had a higher price point. The Arlo Q is about $20-$30 more than the Nest, and about $20-$30 cheaper than the Piper NV. Piper NV can already integrate with zwave technology. I understand through watching Arlo videos that Netgear is building an echo system that will offer similar integration as well for smart home needs. I'm not certain of the timeline of that though. All things considered, the Arlo Q was the right decision for me.

Takes along time for the signal to get back to the App. - also the camera needs to be very close to make out people in its view.

I purchased the Arlo at Best Buy. I only wanted one camera as I live in a Condo. I have to hook up the Arlo every day as at appears to lose its connectivity. I've tried everything. Also the picture on my phone appears upside down. The system is junk.

Had a hard time connecting to the internet. Stayed connected abut 3 weeks before dropping connection. Now will not re-connect at all. Called support and technician had me do several different things and was still unable to connect. I now have one very expensive paperweight.
