Easy to install and easy to use. Excellent alternative to $$$ system. Don't understand reviews by whiners. It installs and performs just as described by the manufacturer and best of all it's wireless.

Cameras have great pictures and pick up a lot of detail during the day as well as night. I had the same problem as some others with one camera that records in a pinkish hue. Otherwise, it would have been a 5-star rating. But, thanks to my Geek Squad product replacement, it was replaced - no questions asked, as promised and now everything is back to perfect!!!

Easy setup and great quality for the money. Was looking for a battery operated and wireless device that was portable, and small enough to not be easily noticed. This product hit on all marks. I will definitely be looking to add more individual cameras to the system for coverage of the rest of the house.

Great HD camera! Sensors work amazing with very long range. No real downside but would recommend getting rechargeable batteries. I can notice I would be replacing them every 2-3 months

There have been a handful of vehicle thefts in our area the past couple weeks and I wanted to be proactive about protecting our investments. We did a ton of research and settled on the Arlo for the simplistic approach. Purchased the Arlo cameras and had them installed within minutes. The instructions were simple to follow and everything seemed to work... atleast until we put it to use. The biggest flaw of this product for us was the motion detection. This unit does not record 24/7 and because of that, it needs to work right when it picks up motion. If you visit the Arlo forums, you'll find hundreds of posts related to the lag of motion detection. My wife came home one day and managed to go inside the house and it didn't start recording until she went back outside. We followed all of the proper guidelines that were discussed by the manufacturer in the manual. We also contacted Netgear directly and were disappointed with the outsourced customer support. I think this product will work for some, but the common complaint is the motion detection. We will be returning this tomorrow and today we picked up a Samsung security system.... which unfortunately means we have to run wires throughout the house. Had high hopes for this product.
