Arlo is a good system

I did have problems with one of the camers and worked with Arlo to troubleshoot and gain a replacement. Other than that the sysem has performed quite well.

With the subscription, you get lots of features, my favorite being the ability to set activity zones for notifications. HOWEVER.. a HUGE oversight in security is that there is NO NOTIFICATION WHEN THE BASE OR CAMERAS ARE DISABLED OR OFFLINE. My home was broken into. The camera I needed was offline for two days and I was not aware so I have no footage. Unlike other systems, if the base is disabled, it has to be restarted/reconnected before it starts working again. Due to this major flaw, I am moving on to the Ring, which notifies me of when internet connection is lost or reconnected and has the capability to use cellular data as backup. The camera quality and range isn’t as great as the arlo, but at least I will know if a camera isn’t working. What’s the point of a great camera if it’s not on when I need it to be on??

Before I decided on the Arlo system, I did plenty of research on what I wanted! This system is easy to use and setup. The app is easy to navigate and the camera's have a wide view. Battery life is good, advertised to last 6 months, been running for about two months with plenty of juice. It does have a monthly subscription, but priced very fair. Highly recommend this system!!!

I bought my system and stopped working after less than 2 years. I tried getting support from Arlo, nothing was resolved. You will never be able to talk to an actual person just robots.

One of the batteries no longer holds any charge longer than a few days. I tried to find a way to reach out to arlo, "After reviewing your account, it appears that you are not entitled to live agent support. However, you can utilize any of the self-support options available to you including this chat bot, the Arlo Community, and the Arlo support site where you can find how-to articles and videos." Since I'm not entitled to help, I'm going to return all my Arlo products and get Eufy.

I get constant "audio" alerts after I have disabled every audio setting and even the Mic. The detection is horribly inconsistent, the range on the cameras is a joke even with the smart hub, The hub is not far from any of the cameras and the signal is weak. Just trying to help out the next person, would no recommend, I wish I did not spend my money on this headache.
