These new color night vision Arlo's are great.....

The picture is so much better than my Arlo pro cameras.

Really happy with my new Arlo Utra 2 camera set. The set up was super easy and I love the convenience of watching live video feeds of my house on my phone. Excellent video quality and intuitive app.

Good picture quality when I can get them to work. Sometimes I’ll attempt to pull up the video and the image is overly pixelated or all green. Sound quality is great but the cameras are very reliable. I have very good internet and 6 routers in my home included two that are strategically placed to be near the cameras but issues persist nonetheless. Looking at Nest cameras as all of my interior cameras are nest and I’ve had hardly any issues with their reliability.

Updated from my ring cameras to get more coverage and a clearer view. These are def better and at 2K the clarity is better.

Were not satisfied with the battery of the cctv which the salesman named Jesus said that the battery can be charged once every six month after charging battery fully, after 5 hours its already empty We are so disgusted

This Arlo system was one of the easiest systems I've setup where there are no wires to mess around with and setup was as straightforward as it gets. I do actually like this system and trust it to protect my property. Setup is very straight forward, but you will want to think about the view the camera will have from the location you want to install it before you mount it. One of the key things since installing the system I've found is that if like many people, your house is on a street that's busy with cars you'll want to take that into consideration as lots of activity/movement can trigger it to record and wear the batteries down much faster. You can set up zones in the camera scene to ignore parts of the picture for movement and this system does have AI built-in to help get specific notifications but it's not perfect. For most notifications I'm going to rely on the zones for activity. The system does have 4K Cloud storage subscription options and a premium service that can even help with handling 911 emergencies. A key question is battery life, and while I haven't had them that long I can say that it does appear they should have a decent battery life for light recording, and they will send a notification when they are running low and need to be recharged. Since setting them up I haven't ran them dead with people in and out over the holiday and they seem like they'll work just fine watching my front porch/driveway and back door/patio which are the key things I want to monitor as I have a security system inside and security light out back. Charging is easy but if you mount them up high where they are harder to get to then it'll a bit more of a chore to charge them. There are solar panels I saw that I might look into to help keep them topped off as it looks like for me charging will be every couple of weeks based on my use so far. As for the features: The night vision is awesome on this model as it really does show in color and the quality is good too. The 4K Video is very clear and if there was an incident I feel confident that I would have a good capture of any incident, person, car or license plate that got into view and was recorded. The spotlight is a great feature as you can have it set to go off like the siren does or manually set it off if you don't want it automatically doing it. The 2 Way audio is a great feature, especially if you're not home and you have electronic door locks and you want to let someone in for example. I've had other cameras with this feature and I would say that the experience with this set was better than others where it does have noise reduction built in. I would highly recommend connecting this camera set to your Wifi's 5 ghz band to get the best connection to the cameras. Overall, I'd recommend this setup and if you see them on sale, I'd highly recommend getting them. They are expandable so you can add more cameras and I actually do feel confident that things are protected with this system. The only worry is battery life but it appears Arlo has that figured out and you can easily get spares and the solar cells and save tons of extra time/money over installing a wired system.

Great overal picture but I did have to buy a solar charge for the front camera because all the traffic was draining my battery to fast, other then that great pick up

Worst investment and I regret it . You must pay a subscription in order to keep save or go back to view any activities. They will give you one month free after that period you must pay a subscription or will not have access to the activities. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

These are very good. The 4K picture quality is amazing and the sound and Spotlight are good too. I recommend upgrading to these. They are very easy to set up.

I returned it as it was a unique BestBuy edition and I did not like the mounting system unique to BestBuy and Arlo was NO help online to change my mind.

Very nice set I did notice that running the app on an Android platform device is slower and crashes a lot more then when used on Apple devices.

We bought these for our home as we live in the country and absolutely love them! It is so neat that they can even let you know if the motion was a vehicle, person, or animal. We will be buying more!

I bought a previous version of Arlo and they gave me a free week of recording in the cloud. They took that away with this set. So one of the main features I bought this for is no longer available. They also make it just difficult enough to watch the videos on your sd card to persuade you to buy the subscription. The cameras do work and do record, Arlo just designs their use to get you to buy their subscription that isn’t cost effective.

Good viewability. The website is useful. I am alerted when someone is in my vacation home.

I had the Arlo Pro 2’s and upgraded to these when they had the Christmas sale going. The Pro 2’s you never had to pay for storage unless you wanted longer than 7 day video review and anyone you granted access to in the app was able to view all videos and live streams. The Ultra 2’s worked great while we had the Arlo Secure trial for 3 months. Once the trial goes away your only option to store any kind of video is adding a microSD card to the base or paying the $9.99 or more per month to store video. If you plan to have more than one person on the account to view the videos that also goes away unless you have Arlo Secure plan. The color night vision has also been terrible since the trial went away. I invested in getting the solar chargers for all 3 of my cameras (which has actually been one of the better investments because I haven’t had to swap a battery yet) but all of the changes that aren’t very clear up front make me not want to stick with this company after this.
