Terrible compared to Arlo pro

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arlo update bricked mine and I’m also 4 weeks into customer service claiming they would replace them and I have not received anything other the Added in to my original Arlo set thinking there would be a noticeable difference. I have 720 & 1080 cameras which are both as clear a picture as these. The ultra has a wider view angle but that is it. Zooming in is not clear either. Most motion creates a green screen capture and the videos are not able to present a better quality than the 1080 cameras. Battery life is ok but WiFi connection isn’t as good.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

Why do i need to pay an extra $12.99/month for the basic plan? Without the subscription/plan, you cannot access anything. Also, there’s lagging! Save yourself the headache and money and stay away from this company!

Absolute lies about image quality!!

Yeah right! big fat lies!! the quality isn’t that much better than my Arlo 2 camera system that I’ve had for several years! I even did a side-by-side test to compare and it was just as crappy trying to read a license plate… I’m never gonna buy from this company again they are absolute crooks thieves and liars! When I zoom 4K video on my iPhone I get quality! with these I get absolute horse crap!!! Never buy these people again!!!!

Arlo Ultra 2

So far my experience has been good. I did have issues getting my wife's iphone connected to the cameras but it is now resolved. Others have written about not getting recordings on events that should have recorded. I haven't had that yet.

Do not purchase.

I received an email that Netgear has decided to end the life of my functioning arlo 2 cameras. They still work nothing is wrong with them but Netgear has decided I must upgrade to a newer camera. They will no longer be supported. Just like that. Do not trust this company I was not told when I purchased that they could at any time stop supporting these cameras even though they still work.

A true waste

The replacement set had another non working camera. The installer yelled at me in my home saying, "it's working!" The power kept going in and out as he yelled. I told him to take it all down if he could't get them all to work. He wasted 9 hours and all my patience, even yelled at me for NOTHING!
