This set so far is doing great. I hate that you only get a 3 month trial for video recording before you start paying for it.

Poor quality i want to rwturn and get s better camera

Products do okay. Not the clearest of pictures for the cost. Easy to install but no good way to secure from theft or simply moving the camera to avoid it. Overall I’ve had nothing but trouble from these cameras. The company doesn’t have repairs for damaged parts, the lenses scratch easily.

Works great sound and video are the best. Picks up any movement and can tell if person or package!

Great for do it yourself home security/surveillance. Incredible difference with the 4K cameras.

The 4K resolution is terrific. Best videos in the Arlo line. The HDR really makes video pop.

These cameras are perfect as home security cameras and critter cams.

I have an older Arlo camera set & this is a nice upgrade. It connected easily with my old hub & also was easy to add each device to the app I already had installed. I love the color night vision, it was very clear when used with motion lights we already have, when used with just its own built in spotlight you could see color but not as vividly.The spotlight is very bright & can be turned off but it seemed to do best when the subject was in close range. The spotlight is motion activated also. Color night vision can be turned off also. Daytime video is very clear & has a good range. You can customize where you want it to monitor the most & video is 4K but you need WiFi. Battery life is suppose to be 6 months on one charge but time will tell on that. The speakers & microphone are good, they don’t cut in & out like they did on the older models, my camera was outside my window & I was inside talking & it actually picked up my voice.The battery compartment pops out by pushing a button on the bottom & the sync button is super small & also inside, I found that a bit tricky at first. This is a large, heavy camera & comes with 1 magnetic mount & one adjustable bracket, that bracket was so small & short that the camera kept getting my spouting in view & produced a half white circle in each video, no matter how we adjusted it we just couldn’t fix it so we used the older sturdier bracket. I would recommend these for the night color vision alone, just get stronger hardware to attach them to.

I really, really wanted to like this Arlo two camera system if for no other reason than the option for local storage to a SD card and the 4K capability. Yes, it's a 4K sensor in the cameras but it is not anywhere near the kind of advertised quality. If you zoom in on an image it becomes rather grainy and next to impossible to make out any real detail. Color night vision is a nice bit of advertising but a black and white image would yield better results. Setup is easy enough. The included magnetic charging cable is something to take into consideration when deciding just where to mount the camera, just a quick FYI. I have two systems already in place that are 1080p. One of which is wireless and they both provide better image quality and useful functions.

Terrible battery Camera died 25% everyday. Doesnt last not even a week. Waste of money

It doesnt record everything, for ex. Fedex truck pulls up to the front of the house (camera captures), driver delivers package (doesnt get recorded) truck drives off (camera records that )

Okay I like to write honest reviews so you know what your getting. I've owned arlo ultra 2 for about 4 months. Firstly, I love the quaility of the video and the 4k and the night vision with integrated spotlight. The notifications are great I didnt purchase the plan so everything gets stored to the hub which I love. Because you get to see your videos stored and delete them if you no longer want them. So dont over spend your money on the subscription plans just buy yout self a memory 64gb and thats all you might need. Overall I am satisfy with the purchase however, after only a few months one of my camaras stopped working. So I no longer have the warranty on it. Then my 2 star review is for arlo that claims battery life is up to 6 months. Which is NOT TRUE because I have to charge my two camaras almost every two weeks keep in mind there is always movement but every two weeks thats ridiculous and thats about 3 hour charge. So I am not a happy camper with having to do that constantly. Ive owned eufy and I have to say unfortunately I will be going back to those other camaras the battery life on those are truly up to a year without needing to charge them.

These cameras are definitely an upgrade that you need. The Spotlight Function works well at night and brighter than expected. This function alone is amazing. Though great in image quality the 4K video isn’t available on live video mode (depending on internet speed). Also its not continuous recording due to the 4k. My main issue really is the battery life on the cameras. They last about 4 days before having to recharge. My settings are pretty aggressive for motion so your mileage may vary. Im going to try solar panel accessories to alleviate this issue. The motion detection is very good. Overall very good home security cameras they are very clear and amazing detail.

4 Years makes a tremendous difference in technologies. An absolute night vs day experience in camera quality over the original Arlo Pro 4 cam system (VMS4430-100NAS). Battery life is also improved significantly, with the addition of an ultra bright integrated LED spotlights. Setup for this camera system is by far the easiest and most intuitive. I’ve owned a few systems, and installed MANY others. Arlo really exceeds expectations on ease of setup, and then introducing more advanced features as a user becomes comfortable...and over time. The base station/smart hub has a huge plus in my book where many other “Smart” home camera systems are lacking a micro-SD slot. I can’t emphasize how huge this feature is if you actually depend on cameras to serve as some sort of 24/7 security layer to your property. Having local storage, accessible offline if/when needed is huge. While I also wish there was RTSP access or direct IP, I am VERY pleased with the inclusion of the Micro-SD slot. Best Buy has plenty, don’t order or leave the store w’/out one! Note, to get the full use of 4k recordings in the cloud, you must subscribe to the top level Elite Plan, but will also include 5 cameras and 30 days of hosted cloud history. Big fan of the wireless/magnetic charging - no need for more than one if you plan accordingly to charge...but in 3 weeks, we haven’t had to yet! If you are looking for the highest quality, easiest to set up wireless camera system, look no further. From unboxing, mounting/installing, to provisioning on your network should not take more than 5-10 minutes a camera; if you have a screw gun on hand and know exactly where you plan to mount them and where you will position the base station.

Don't buy it. Poor quality, extremely poor customer service.

Installation was flawless with good connection to base hub. Camera's meet all expectations and having the ability to map zones a plus. Ease of battery charging and changes a breeze. Like the new security mounts.

I recieved these in exchange of my unbiased review. I love these Arlo spot light cameras, included is 2 of them in this kit. I found these pretty simple to install since I already had some other brand (Logitech) cameras in place. I simply installed these in the same spot as the old. I like how quick you can access these cameras via the app. I already had a Arlo video DoorBell so I didn't need to setup a account, just link these to my existing one. I decided to hardwire these to power so I won't have to ever recharge them again. Il, start by saying these cameras have a great looking picture, but it looks more 1080p HD than it does 4K. These connect easily to my wifi and stay connected without issue or dropout. I like the built in 2 way audio, where not only can you hear who your watching on the cameras, but you can also speak to them or set off a alarm over the cameras speaker. I decided to subtracted a star since these don't seem to produce a true 4K picture. Other than that I couldn't find a con with these cameras. Ive already added two more of these outside my home for a full view around the exterior of my home.

I love the picture on this camera and set up is super easy. The 1 flaw i have found is that there is a lag while viewing the camera in live feed mode sometimes only a few seconds and sometimes by more.
