I have to say, I have installed quite a few surveillance cameras at friends and family homes and have not experienced the same ease with those as I have with Arlo's Ultra Camera. I finally have a camera for the front door that I didn't know I needed! SETUP 10/10 Setup is an easy few minutes of plugging in. The fact that it is wireless and battery really makes it almost too easy. There is no need to find an outlet or run any wires. I picked a spot, grabbed the ladder, put it up in less than 10 minutes. The app helped determine if it was too far from the base point. FEATURES 9/10 The Camera itself with spotlight built in and 4K live streaming is second to none. I could see great detail in the camera at night and during the day. The feature that allows night vision really helps illuminate dark areas that you might otherwise not see. Being able to pinch and zoom in video to see closer also helps to distinguish different things and see if there is package at the door. I was able to mount this facing perpendicular to my front entrance and have a 180 field of view that covers the entire front of my house and the front door at the same time without needing a panning camera. There is also very little distortion. I have also been using this camera for a few months and have not charged it yet and surprisingly is quite efficient, even with the automatic spotlight. The APP 8/10 The App made using this product a breeze. The UI is very intuitive, easy to use and has so many simple features. I am able to see a live view, set notifications and really tweak how I want to use my camera. I do like that I can review past movement and that it only records those moments. I prefer to only see movement and don't need hours of recorded nothingness. Also the ability to set activity zones and the AI detection allows for me to not get false notifications every few seconds like I have seen with the wind blowing on some other cameras. The one area that needs improvement is the lag time on the Camera. I noticed that the app live feature has a lag to connect and by the time I connect and would like to talk to the person on the other end, they have left. It is tough to have quick conversations and know what the other person is saying. OVERALL 9/10 Overall this camera has really surpassed my expectations for a security camera and the quality + wireless capability make it one of the best cameras out there. I plan on getting these for friends and family because of how easy it is to install and use. The app again is so intuitive and helps monitor my home. Arlo provided me with this product free of charge, but the content and my opinions expressed here are honest and based on my use of the product. Before receiving this camera, I didn't think I needed surveillance in my home, but now I am thinking of purchasing more to cover the perimeter of the rest of my house.

I found that Ultra 4 has got alot of unanswered questions and It should not be sold without someone to come with the Unit and explain how to use it. If I had look into the Camera before buying and have to return one to get another I would not have bought it.
