System is excellent and does as advertised. Love the feature that tells you person vs animal vs package. Well done, Arlo. The range on the motion detector is disappointing, though. It says 25 feet and is closer to 15 feet. Otherwise, a very good product. Battery life is also as expected/excellent.

Sonfar these cameras are great and have a multitude of options that are all user friendly and eacy to change. The battery life of the high traffic cameras are not great but just make sure to adjust settings accordingly and it will be fine.

Very good quality.These were the best cameras I had but the only thing I really dislike is that they force you to pay a monthly subscription. I would recommend if you don't mind paying every month.

Cameras are amazing. Easy to install. Solar panels are a must for the outside cameras. They keep them constantly charged. A lot of features to the cameras. Make sure you print of the manual so you get to optimize everything!

I purchased these to put around my house. The ease of use with battery makes installing these anywhere easy. Quality and video is great. It catches birds as they fly by. It’s really amazing how well they work.

Auto now it's starting to charge you to go and see your own videos can I use a USB backup device on to this you only able to use SD cards. the biggest problem I have is that you cannot watch 4K content on your phone you going to be able to access 4K content is by removing the SD card and plug into your computer. I like the original basis that had a siren and we're a little more future-proof this is more of sign up all those making a dependent on their pay service I don't think it's worth the upgrade

Examples of misleading sales info: Sales claim: 4k video Yes but only on 2 cameras and 4 k is mutually exclusive with the follow feature. That said , the system was easy to install and works well.

Camera provides good video quality both in the daytime and at night. WiFi connection is shaky at times and causes the feed to be a little unstable. Communicating through the camera can be hit or miss as well. Installation and set up is fairly simple.

I think it’s a good system and pretty easy to set up. I was thinking that the 4K camera would be able to read license plates that were within about 50 ft. I don’t think that’s the case. I haven’t set up the video doorbell yet so I can’t comment on that.

had more control recording time and area with older system, having really bad rely lapse time with library uploads , was not able to sync older camera to the base at the time of set , is only recording for a few seconds does not track the object

Best buy (no pun) for the time when we wanted to set up security during a time someone was harassing us. Added these after putting up a Ring doorbell that I had won at a conference drawing. Still the best option for quick affordable increased security.

Currently I have 8 Ultra cams, 5 of 8 cams are hooked up to the Solar Panel accessory & they're working great. Really looking forward to additional accessories becoming available. Super simple installation & use.

Have had these since January and so far no problem. The siren is a joke though. Hardly any sound. The pic quality is good especially at night.

I spent several hours and days on the phone with Arlo Support. This is Arlo Support statement: This is to inform you that we are facing the known issue for Base station VMB5000 ( The Activity Zone- Camera is detecting the motion outside the Zone ( ISSUE-10508) our engineering team is Working on it to fix the Issue as soon as possible . Thanks Arlo Support... I later learned this issue has been on going since JAN2018. I returned the Arlo - Ultra 2-Camera to Best Buy on 13SEP2019.

Great picture quality but the WiFi distance isn’t very good .constantly losing WiFi on camera in drive way and even have a WiFi booster .

For the 1st time in 20 years, my house was vandalized. While I understand that if this is an every 20-year event such a purchase is not a wise investment. The purchase was not made immediately after the incident, my neighbor was vandalized the following week and because my neighbor heard them and tried to chase them down they came back for more. Throwing eggs at his house. My neighbor went out and purchased the Arlo system and I followed suit. Since our purchase, there have been no more incidents. At either house. Or in our neighborhood as well. I really enjoy being able to see my house when away from it. My house is more secure and I am more secure.

I love this product and it is easy to install ready to start up as soon I open the box. Highly recommended for some one want a affordable and easy use security camera in their home.

Gives 4K high resolution security camera system. Can capture down to a license plate if needed. Captures good pictures in night times. Very pleased and can control from mobile phone.
