The camera security system is great. I love it. It works great

It’s pricey but effective. The cameras are true to what it says.

These cameras are amazing! I've had these cameras almost a month and the battery is just now needing charged. The batteries had 25% when I had installed the cameras. The cameras get used 4 hrs a day.

I bought the Arlo three years ago for my parents house and now I purchased some for my own home. I recommend them highly. I was able to keep watch on my parents in Florida with them as they are not in the best of health. Now I use them to keep my home safe. Awesome product.

Super easy and very reasonable monthly cost for security

I upgraded from a first generation Arlo set (batteries) and two Arlo Q Plus. With the Arlo Q plus, I used them by placing them along the window to shoot out into my driveway. This would capture all motion going in and out of my street without having to mount my camera and without my camera getting beat through the weather. The Arlo Ultra placed in this same setup detects 0 motion, I can literally be right in front of the camera on the other side of the window and wave or wipe the window and it still would not detect motion.

Great style, but too pricey for the poor longevity. The battery dies too quickly. We have to use the most plain settings in order for the cameras to last longer without charging too soon.

Setup Setup was very easy and very quick. After downloading Arlo mobile application I just followed the prompts on my phone screen and setup was done with just a few minutes Features Storage: Great cloud service with very friendly interface. Activity zones: This helps you to monitor specific area and get alerts if there is any activity inside of that area. Alerts could be customized for different motions such as people, animals, vehicles, packages or all. Power Management: This is based on option you chose by 3 available settings best battery life, optimized or best video quality Video modes: 3 available video modes/settings: Super wide (180 degree), Wide (155 degree) and Full video (120 degree). Auto zoom and tracking: This is very nice feature, when enabled it would follow and zoom object or person in video. Contact: E911 service to contact emergency service and Call a friend option Night vision has good quality but it does not work in color unless you use spot light which is battery drainer but also expose camera and brings unwanted attention. Spotlight might scare intruders when activated but not good to be used as powered on for all the time Two way audio for communications. Real wireless camera Expendable system for up to 10 camera’s Performance: Video quality is great regardless do you use high quality 4k or 1080 video which is also very good. Camera seems to have a good distance range and very decent battery life (mine is positioned in high traffic area and I will add solar charger for my camera). Cloud services are really good and easy to navigate. I am not happy with 4 seconds delay when viewing live video or communicating to someone thru two way audio system. Audio communication seems to be slow when connecting to two way audio, has few seconds delay and seems to working one way at the time which is activated and deactivated by pressing microphone icon (like standard two way radio). Night vision seems to be nice and clear. This system does meet my expectation and I like it a lot but because of the mentioned issue with audio delay and not really reliable 2 way communication I will take one star from my ratings. Since this is a software based “issue” I would expect Arlo to fix those up in the near future. We purchased this system a month ago and so far there has not been any problems. We are learning how to tweak it for our needs. This is our first security system and we love it.

If you want a true wireless security system this is a must I also grabbed the solar panels to keep my batteries charged year round hassle free. I love arlo n I will only add more cameras to my system n my wife loves it because it’s easy to use n operate

The cameras are a good concept in features but the execution is challenged. The wireless range was lacking, battery charge did not last too long as a result. Picture quality was good but the SD recording failed to work despite several chip swaps and formats. Mounts were ok, but the magnetic mount seems like it would not survive a thunderstorm, nevermind a hurricane... Did not work for me, but maybe for you if you have a reasonable area size to cover.

got this to secure the perimeter around my house. The connection wasn't good. It took way too long to load the videos on the app, and even then, was very buggy. I dont recommend.

Honestly its a system to get used to. It has a delay for notifications for sure. Unless you're actively watching it while away you won't be able to use the mic feature too often

My husband bought me a ring doorbell pro and this $1,000 arlo set for Christmas. It was OK but not worth $1,000. My ring doorbell had a clearer picture and the delay talk time is only a second vs the arlo the talk delay was about 15-20 seconds. I took the arlo system back and bought an indoor ring camera, outdoor wireless spotlight camera and a solar panel to charge it and got $600 back!!! The ring is just as good if not better. Save your money!!!

I had high hopes for this system but batteries only stayed charge for about a week and the Magnetic Cables have been on back order for about a month with no mention when they may get them

we have had arlos for over 4 years these are by far the best the motion following is unbelievable and has aided the police in a robbery next door battery replacement awesomely easy however why couldnt you use the batteries from the last version

Good wireless camera. But there are some flaws and some buggs needs firmware fixed. Sometimes does not detect people. Just check arlo forums for more info. expensive and not reliable
