    Not worth the price!!!!! Always stuck on "getting status " I also get "arlo appears to be offline or off" i know for a fact there's power and internet. BATTERIES DRAIN FAST!!!! One of them has to be recharged every 3 days!!!! Oh and 4K!!!! Forget it!! No such thing!! Records as good as a cheap wired home security system. DO NOT BUY!!!!

    This system is so much better than my current Ring doorbell and security system, which im now selling. The biggest difference is the screen resolution and timely recording capturing. The ability to identify people is important to me as well as timely notification. The set up was also very easy and so is using the system with my iphone.

    My boyfriend purchased the $1000 Arlo Ultra Security System from BestBuy for my birthday. He travels for living and therefore couldn't set up the system until after the 15-day return policy. Once set up, the picture and video quality were horrible. There is no way you could make out any details, faces were blurry and actually pixelated! After 4 hours with Arlo customer service, they admitted that this was a problem many customers were having and that they had escalated the issue to the engineers, but in the meantime, there was nothing else for them to do. My boyfriend then went back to BestBuy hoping that in good faith, they would still accept the return since the product was defective. He showed them the poor video quality on his cell phone. The store manager admitted that they knew this was an issue with the new Arlo Ultra system, but that they continued to sell them anyway. We have purchased many big ticket items from BestBuy in the past, but will no longer give them our business in the future. We are now out $1000.

    Don't do it! I bought this camera to add to my arlo pro 2 4 pack I already had, almost $600 later for two ultra cameras and; 1. I didn't get the free 1 year arlo smart 2. I couldn't buy the arlo smart subscription and get refunded because credit card system was experiencing a glitch (can't view video playback without smart plan or cvr plan, can't buy either with the glitch) 3. I set up an activity zone and got 60+ notifications outside the activity zone with the sensitivity on 5 (out of 100) in less then 5 minutes. Customer service asked for 24-48 hours to figure out the smart plan problem but in the mean time all I can do is check live feed which no longer means it's an effective security system.

    Huge flaws right now. No notification is sent when there is an alarm (set up is correct) to your phone, ultras cameras do not show up in IFTT or smartthings. Extremely poor range from the base, Returning mine today. I so wanted to love these cameras ((

    I have tried to make these work with all the latest firmware updates, but issues with connection and overall sluggish performance remain. When it does work, video quality was not that impressive. I was extremely disappointed, and will be returning for refund. I cannot recommend.

    Would NOT recommend due to poor quality and poor support. I bought two sets of Arlo Ultras, and one set had 2 cameras broken and the other set had 1 camera broken. Was really hard to get ahold of Support (they wanted to send to "community forums" for support vs calling or chatting. Bounced around support for a couple days; cases got lost, etc. They said they'd send replacement cameras, 3 weeks later, still no cameras and no way to tell the status without calling back in. Also, the "working" cameras have a ~10 second delay to start recording when someone walks up, making the cameras pretty useless for security as the person is long gone by time the camera spins up. Would not recommend.

    I'm just curious if I can use my power cords from my arlo pro 2 cameras to power these 24 hrs or do you need to have the new magnetic cables? If that is the case it's not worth the cost of these cameras after what I got invested in my pro 2 cameras

    ULTRA HIGH MAINTENANCE!!

    Like everyone else, I've had extensive trouble shooting sessions trying to keep this system working. (And it hasn't even been a month.) No recording for cameras within activity zones is the latest issue, right behind "no stream" availability. Phone support is the worst and actually encouraged me to return it without offering any other solution. Community support wants a screen shot but at this point I'm so tired of trouble shooting, turning off the activity zone to get it to record is the only further trouble shooting I'm willing to do for right now..Stick a fork in me, I'm done!

    You get free storage at first, but then you are nudged into a monthly fee for an account... Also, even though you may think an external storage device will be an option? You can not access recordings through the app... You have to disconnect and reconnect to a computer in order to do that. I’m seriously considering throwing my system straight in the garbage and going back to Costco for the better one without the hidden Monthly fee tricks...

    This is The Junk !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Product quality is inferior, the Customer service staffs have extremely lack of knowledge about products. They had no idea what they were talking about. Asking for an extra subscription fee to use the full feature that I paid for. I wouldn't buy it even for $100.00. CERTAINLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I would not recommend anyone to buy these or any arlo it’s not 4K or 2k or 1080p or 720 A flip phone has better picture quality then any Arlo Product you can go to Arlo‘s website and see thousands of complaints and a Arlo still has not done anything to fix it

    I have the Arlo pros and after not being able to read license plates or labels on the side of a door, I decided to get the 4k. I still can not read plates. Not pleased at all. Will be sending back. Live picture is only slightly better than the pro version. I have all settings to give me the best picture and not impressed.
