it was really easy to set-up and connect to the family's phones so anyone can check at anytime. The cameras can be programed so many ways that will make it Impossible for anyone to get past them. Install took less then an hour to have everything installed and working. If anyone is looking for something to watch there homes I will say this is the best. And with all the extra things that you can get with like the solar charging work great has well. Never have to worry about changing batteries and takes less then 5 mins to install.

Excellent product, well worth the investment. I am currently just using two, have had no real issues and easy to set up. Nice clear video.

The Arlo camera system is an unstable security system with multiple problems. Software and firmware updates that change the way your system detects motion, batteries that don't charge in cold weather, customer service that doesn't offer solutions except to "escalate to Level 2 Support", waiting days for a reply only to be told that "the engineering team is investigating".

I bought a set of original Arlo Pro camera about 5 years ago because I got sick of my D-Link and QSee cameras losing link when power would go out at my cottage in the winter. The Arlo system was way easier to install and has been rock solid reliable. This set I use at our new home in FL and love them even more. The 4K picture allows you to actually recognize the face of people walking by and see wild life. It took me 20 min from the time I opened the box until all 4 cameras were up, positioned and running. Simply great!

Camera only records on motion and if being still doesn’t continue event. 4K only looks 4K with great lighting. Sometimes motion recording is delayed and you miss beginning of recording.

I have has several Camera Systems over the years. This was by far the easiest to install. The only Con is you can view one camera at a time with the full screen of the smart phone or tablet.

Notifications are a minute or so behind, so if the person at the door doesn't stay long, it is difficult to communicate with them. Photo quality is great. Easy setup and easy to use.

Picture quality is great. Set up is simple. No interference with our home wifi. Solar panels give an endless array of options for positioning.

I purchased the Arlo Pro 2 prior to the Ultra Pro. I was expecting a huge difference in the quality of the video. In my honest opinion go with the Pro 2. The cameras on both units are constantly going offline. Any in many cases they do not record events. I have 3 cameras pointed in the same direction. Sometimes all 3 record and sometimes only 1 or 2 record. My recommendation is to purchase a wired system.

Arlo is very convenient and easy to set up without worrying about wires. The batteries have a long life, but the connection back to the base is way too flaky. I had to re-pair the cameras several times because they would stop notifying me of motion and recording. I would expect a more reliable experience for the price.

I just love these cameras! Great video, even at night! Easy to install, charge holds for over a week. Highly recommended!

I am still checking all the features and the over system have some problems where it crashes from time to time but nothing that a firmware update would solve in the future, very good and clear image.

The App itself isn’t bad but the system with the app is not what you can get with other Camera Systems. Always losing signal with cameras. Base unit alway dropping internet even with I know for sure there is internet. Having to restart base unit all the time. I have friends with other systems and they work great. No delays. Arlo has over a minute delay on all my cameras. Updated my wireless router to try to fit the issue. Didn’t work ran better but still huge delay. Arlo has a lot to work on. Was easy to install. I think the base unit needs much improvement to allow system to work better range is not good at all. Unless you are looking to have cameras only maximum of 10 feet away from base. And at that range you’ll still have issues. Also customer service isn’t great at all. They seem to only want to close open cases as fast as possible without really fixing the issue or give you any Solutions.

The cameras were easy to set up and have a great picture. We had to buy a wi fi extender to help since we live in a larger house.

I would give it 5 stars if only their Customer Service was better trained and able to assist, and their website was more of assistance. I had some questions about the setup before making the full effort and to determine if I was satisfied with the product, but CS was not very knowledgeable about the new product and it’s features. Either way, it was a good deal, and I’m satisfied with the purchase. I got the doorbell camera also which displays nicely on the mobile application.

Virtual plug and play. It doesn't get easier than this! Add the fact it offers great easy to start up service and the 4k is amazing!

Before I purchased the Arlo Ultra system with 4 cameras, I purchased an Orbi Mesh WiFi 6 home WiFi system with two satellites. It is the best home mesh system made by the parent company to Arlo. The WiFi coverage was excellent, including at each location where I intended to put the 4 Arlo Ultra cameras. To my great surprise, two of the cameras received a signal which the app said was too weak to connect. The app said to check my WiFi system. I did and the signal was plenty strong where the two non-working cameras were placed. I finally reached someone at Arlo who told me that the Arlo Ultra camera system does not use my WiFi and that I would have to buy at least one more base unit and connect it with Cat cable to my router. I purchased another base unit and connected it to a port on one of the satellites. That worked. Apparently, the Arlo Ultra cameras use a proprietary WiFi system provided by the base units. If your cameras are too far away from the Arlo base unit, or obstructed by walls, etc., they will not work even though your home WiFi system has a strong signal where they are located. That is crucial information that should have been stated prominently upfront by Arlo. My prior security cameras used my own WiFi system and I believe most would expect that.

We love this camera. The picture quality is excellent and you can set it up on the app that it alerts you whenever someone is walking up to your door. It also automatically zooms in on the person as they are walking up, and you can talk to them and hear them talk to you all through the camera. Really good quality compared to everything else that’s out there - we are just waiting for the update to be released sometime this quarter for it to integrate with our HomePod, but I would definitely recommend this camera.

Purchased this system and was excited to get it installed. Arlo advertises that you can get a couple months out of a charge with each camera battery which is not the case. Mine was so poor at one point I turned off any detection and all recordings and I was still losing 10-15% per day. Connectivity was very choppy for a while I would have serious issues with not being able to view the camera system which is incredibly inconvenient since that's the reason I purchased it.. was to see it.. The 4k feature is fine when it works, however you cannot use 4k if you activate the auto tracking which that in itself is very very choppy when it tries to work. You also cannot view in 4k outside of your home network. I have very very fast internet speeds with 4 repeaters throughout my house so I know it's not an internet issue. Overall I made the switch to Ring and couldn't be happier.
