Good Floodlight But Horrendous App and Experience

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We’ve had the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight for a week and have had a number of issues: 1) Setup with the new Arlo Secure app was not intuitive. It took two tech savvy millenials over an hour to figure out the app and how to access the various features. 2) This camera doesn’t offer 24/7 recording, even with a paid subscription 3) Arlo up-charges for a power cord and base station that allows for HomeKit connectivity. Given Arlo’s positive reviews, we were left disappointed with the app and user experience. The floodlight itself is bright and responsive, but isn’t enough to entice us to keep it.

It works great. I am able to see the driveway and the street in front of my house. It has good range even at night. This product provides good light just at the right time. When we have packages being delivered to the house we get an alert and can go out and grab them. It gives me peace of mind knowing my packages are not being stolen. I highly recommend for driveways and back porches.

Especially their app. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the mount. The camera is almost too heavy to keep it in place. I have had to adjust it twice already and have had it for a couple of months. I do like the spots. They light up my cul-de-sac.
