All settings for highest resolution. My WiFi router is less than 2 feet from the camera and we are on fiber. Response is close to a minute for live-view. Video quality is horrible.

I have had no issues with OTHER Arlo products. Arlo support will give you many solutions in an attempt to resolve ( relocate being the main one). The product will continue to cycle on and off. Trust me, look at the threads on this issue, and consider an alternative product.

Cannot be hard-wired

I was sure that I had read in the product info that they could be wired in, but no.
