Real good quality and features. The spotlight is bright and adjustable. The killer was having to pay for each camera/device to get full functionality. Google nest products doesnt charge extra for that

The Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera is a fantastic security camera that gives you a multitude of options, both indoors or outdoors. It helps you to keep an eye on the people and things that are most important to you. It’s wireless, easy to install, and connects to your existing internet. However, you will need a high-speed Internet connection, and have access to a mobile phone as well as be able and willing to utilize the app or the web portal. The extremely bright floodlight makes the nighttime video and photos taken in 2k look even sharper. I have been using my Arlo Pro 3 for about a week now and continue to find new, useful features that are hidden within the capabilities of the app. Also, the Arlo ecosystem allows for a number of expansion options that can grow with you as you expand and your need for video and audio survilliance. Owning the Arlo Pro 3 is almost like having someone in a command system providing detail information about important incidents around your home or office and they are utilizing an advanced AI that allows them to identify objects, people, packages, vehicles, and animals and the notifications are sent to you that clearly indicates what type of moment is occurring and by what object. The Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera arrived to my home without damage. It was well packaged to ensure nothing moved around, but it appeared to have been too much open space in the box as if they planned to include more parts based on the model you purchased. The Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera system did not come with a manual and I was little concerned at first. I prefer introduction pages and startup guides so that I am not moving around blindly. I later found a card and sticker wrapped in a small piece of plastic which instructed me to download the app. I downloaded the app and followed the instructions which guided me step by step. I was able to set up the emergency 911 calling, assign three friends to contact right away in case of emergency. I set up auto detect of items and things including audio, and adjust the brightness for the floodlight. If needed, I could have also assigned multiple users if needed. I was also able to create activity zones to reduce false alarms. I still have the ability to speak with anyone that walks on my porch as the system is equip with a 2-way audio system. I haven’t had a chance to check the built in smart siren because I don’t want to alarm my neighbors with a false call and I also haven’t checked the floodlight on full because it’s already really bright at 50%. I was able to install the Floodlight Camera by myself, as I kept my cellphone on my person. Although it was not too difficult to install this system, it is best to read the instructions before attempting to do anything. The Arlo Pro 3 is different than most basic video surveillance systems and it’s loaded with several hidden buttons and mechanism. If you attempt to install without following along with the app installation instructions, you could make the installation more difficult for yourself and could damage the camera. I installed my camera under the covering on my porch, but I appreciate the ability to move it wherever I’d like since it is wireless and weatherproof. I was able to test the majority of the features of the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight has to offer without issue, but I needed night to fall to test the floodlight and with unintentional movement. The system’s video view is clear during the day and has color night vision. You’re able to see clear and stable video and pictures and you can also see clear live views for anywhere in the world. At the time that I was writing this review, right on cue, I got a notification that I was quickly able to see. The light turned on and a video was recorded, in clear 2k color in HDR. The notification was delivered right to the lock screen of my cell phone and the Alro Floodlight Camera system picked up video and audio from the mailperson’s conversation, what they were talking about via an earpiece, I was able to see the mail in hand, and the camera tracked and followed the mail person until they left the porch. The Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera is a great system, but there are a few things that I don’t like as much. I am not a fan of subscription services as you continue to pay for a system/service that I feel you have already purchased, but in this case you’re still able to get a lot out of the system without a required subscription. I’m not a big fan of cloud services and associated costs, but at least this system gives you an option and there are some really good benefits to the subscription. This system comes with a free three month trial and I see how the subscription could be an advantage. I also wish I could adjust the video from a horizontal view to a vertical view without having go to live and then hit the arrows. It would be nice to view it vertically automatically when you turn your phone and without having to physically select arrows to switch the camera view. But I do like that I can invert the view 180 degrees and that could be helpful when moving the camera around. I don’t like how difficult it is to find out how long the battery will last or the warranty on the battery and system. I have no idea how long the battery will last. Is the camera always on or just when activity is happening? Never-the-less, the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight is an advanced system with all the bells and whistles and offers a lot of control. It is one of the most advanced camera systems on the market. You will not be disappointed with this purchase and all the capabilities and possibilities to expand. This system can be used over multiple years.

It looked like a great idea, but mine must have been defective. I could not get the battery to charge properly & had to return this item, but the 2 single cameras that I purchased r fantastic.

This product is good , to keep your home safe and reliable.

Love the camera. Very disappointed that I needed to buy an additional $50 cord to be able to charge it outdoors. It’s an exterior camera. Why wouldn’t it come with an appropriate charging cord?

Gave as Xmas gift was requested to enhance home security

Why does this come with a micro usb charging cord? It’s useless! This charges with Arlo’s magnetic charging cord that did not come with it! Frustrated! Haven’t used it yet to give better rating.

Bright light but seems to have a lot of noise interfering, can’t pick up talking

The installation support is excellent and thorough.

Be aware that you only get your videos on the app for a few months, then you have to pay a premium or you just have a pretty expensive floodlight.
