Freeing yourself from the junction box, the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight allows you to install the flood anywhere you want. Delivering a powerful light when motion is captured and recording in 2K. I personally already had an Arlo system and specifically got this to extend my security perimeter. Thus I can not comment on using this without an application subscription as I happily pay it already. It was however, incredibly easy to add the Floodlight into my existing network. Quite pleased with how the floodlight performed. The motion sensitivity was perfect, but adjustable, right out the box for me. Installation was a breeze and the video recorded was crisp. Easily recommend.

This is a great addition to the Arlo Security Cameras. Adding this camera was simple and easy just follow the direction. The floodlight is super bright and is able to cover about 25ft to 30ft. The wireless function works well but lags a bit.. Its about 3 to 5 secs delay. I think the best part of the Arlo Cameras is the battery. I don’t need to run wires to the camera for power or video. Definitely would recommend this.

The camera works great. It detects and follows movement, the floodlights come on, and the image quality is really good no matter what time of day or night. I have it near my back door, and it illuminates the backyard nicely for smoke breaks and quick trips to the garage. Since it's wireless and cordless, I could put it just about anywhere. The movement following can be kind-of entertaining -- when it records us sitting on the back porch, the camera image can swing all over the place, zoom in and out, but it's a fun feature. I suppose I'd disable that for more professional use. It does reliably detect humans and animals vs random movement. There's a few things I don't like about it. I wish the notifications were more configurable, like a threshold or configurable window. If I'm out there moving around, it will send me a notification that it detects movement every 30 seconds or so. I really wish there were a way to have it alert just once for a set period of time. Also, I set the floodlight to stay on for 5 minutes, but it shuts off after about a minute and then back on when it detects any movement. Also, there's no onboard memory. It's a cloud-based service. They start you off with a premium account, but I'm not sure how much it's going to retain when I revert to the standard account. I'd really recommend using it with the arlo base station so that you can store your own recordings.

The only negative I have about this product is the drain the light has on the battery. Even with the XL battery the light loses about 1% if the light comes on twice and stays on for 1min each time. The picture from the camera is crispy and clear, and the light is bright enough to see in the pitch black.

I received this spotlight camera for my birthday. We live in a great neighborhood but security is something we thought would help with safety with all the children. The Camera is amazing. My wife and I installed It in about 2 mins. The light is super bright. The camera is very clear. Not to mention how simple the app is. Very good product. If your family is worth it, then Arlo is the way to go.

Very bright and easy to set up. I had Arlo pros when they first came out and found them somewhat unreliable and difficult to maintain, with long delays. It seems as though the technology has come along way. No long-term experience yet

Purchased my pro 3 floodlight camera after my truck was vandalized and needed something with a good light but also a good picture. Installation was simple and I am more than happy with the resolution of the camera not just during the day but also night; it has a very clear picture even in the dark and the customizable zones make monitoring busy areas a breeze. I would recommend this to anyone.

Arlo has done it again with another great product. This spotlight cam is awesome. Very bright, clear and my favorite feature is how it automatically zooms in on the object thats moving. Clear nighttime color. Would definitely recommend.

Could not get it connected to WIFI even after contacting Arlo support and my ISP

The Arlo flood light camera has been a great addition to our Arlo security system. It is super bright and has a very wide field of view. The picture is super crisp, both day and night. While a but pricy, you get what you pay for and that's a top notch quality product that was worth every penny

This product is simple to setup adding it to an existing camera system. Good video quality and the light is exceptionally bright! Thankfully the brightness is adjustable as 15% seems to be enough for my use and that will help extend the battery life.

ARLO Pro 3 Floodlight was a breeze to install. The online video instructions were very helpful with the install and initial set up.The whole install took no more than 10 minutes to set everything up for use.Once, the ARLO Pro 3 Floodlights are fully operational for use, the video quality and the brightness of the floodlights has impressed me the most. No other all in one, camera and floodlight, combination can compete with this product. Highly recommend this to all that is looking for a security camera with a floodlight.

Setup is very easy. The flood light is very bright and the brightness is adjustable. The camera is able to classify object detected such as animal or person, very smart. Video quality is very good as usual. I wish it comes with magnetic charging cable.

I purchased this camera to address a vulnerability in my driveway, after the catalytic converter was stolen from my car while it was parked in my driveway. The camera synced perfectly with my existing Arlo Pro base station and immediately showed up on my app. I was able to easily adjust the coverage zone and floodlight brightness. The camera is excellent, true 2k resolution, and covers my entire driveway to the street, and the floodlight is very illuminating. Mounting the camera was very easy as well, and felt very secure with the integrated mounting plate. Would highly recommend to anyone as either a standalone camera or integrated into an existing Arlo system.

Love this product. The 2K feature is amazing. The quality is on point and incomparable by far. To zoom tracking, hands down, my favorite feature. I had the Arlo Pro 3 system and absolutely loved that as well; wasn't a fan of needing a hub for a few reasons. If you want a great security camera.. definitely consider Arlo. You won't be disappointed. Missing a star because to optimize all features of this camera you will need to charge the battery at least once every other week, if not more. All-in-all.. not upset with the near $300 spent.

Setup was a real easy with after the downloading the Arlo app and the wizard walk through setup. It has a really nice Floodlight that can be manually turned and brightness adjust from within the app. And also a nice little siren controlled within the app. I was really concerned with the lag in video feed initially. It was anywhere from 30 secs to a minute. HOWEVER, this occurs if you disarm the system. If you arm the system, then the video lag on my network is about 3 to 6 secs. I'm thinking that's acceptable for now, until I'm missing a package :( Mounting it was quite simple with the enclosed template back plate, As suggested in the Arlo app setup tutorial, it is easier to mount with camera and battery part disconnected. Not much information was given about the battery. I was concerned about the battery life and how often I would have to dismount the camera and charge the battery. After research online, I found the battery life to be anywhere from 3-6 months. I hope it is rechargeable when the time comes. As with all my devices, I always charge the battery fully before use. It still shows 100% after a few days, but then I don't live in Grand Central Park. There are other charging options, which I haven't looked into yet. It has a magnetic charge connection on the bottom, which requires an optional magnetic cable and solar panel to charge the camera battery. But I did notice that it does say camera wasn't functional when I was charging it with the included micro usb cable. Since there wasn't an actual owners manual included in my box, you can download the owner's manual online through the Arlo website. Just the floodlight camera does not include an option to use a SD card. However, if you have the Arlo hub (separate purchase) and are connected to it, you can insert a micro sd card there. So, just having the Arlo - Pro 3 Indoor/Outdoor Wire-Free 2K HDR Floodlight Camera, you either have to subscribe to the cloud service or try to catch notifications live (with a little lag). 3 months subscription included, subscriptions start at $2.99 or $3.99, can't recall of the top of my head. Overall, It is nice product, however, I feel a rechargeable solar panel and mag cable should be included. if it is your only security camera system that you have, then it would be good choice with it's wide viewing angle. If you currently have a night vision capable security system, then it isn't necessary. So if you're only wanting a single wide view camera, that is easy to setup and mount. This would be for you with it's long life battery.

I just built a house and the builders did not put any wiring for a floodlight above the garage door (it was a cookie-cutter home). Anyway, I wanted to make sure that I had a motion-sensing floodlight and it obviously needed a battery (the wife hates visible wires). In all my research the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight came highly recommended so I decided to get one to try out and I could not be happier. The video is always crystal clear, even at night and the floodlight is the perfect amount of lumens. It won't blind anyone but it makes sure that everything can still be seen. I really like the activity zones so I can draw out the area to make sure I reduce the number of false alerts. I am going to buy another one for my backyard.

These things are amazing. I haven't mounted them yet but I have 2 of them in my backyard and I've had to reduce the brightness to 33% because they are so bright. And the recordings are really clear. Very happy so far. I've had Arlo cameras since 2017 and have been pleased. Yes there is a recording lag but it's something I've learned to live with. My current cameras are EOL so I decided to get 5 of these and with the customer discount code Arlo sent me I couldn't pass these up.

Purchased the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera in addition to the doorbell/2 essential bundle pack for a black friday deal. It was the first to arrive and I installed it on the outside corner of my house pointing towards the driveway. Installation was very simple and took me only 10 minutes to mount the unit to a brick wall! The battery life has been great so far. There are so many useful features to customize within the app. The smart alerts are very functional and handy when away from the house. I have no complaints, only accolades! I am excited to install the rest of the cameras and see the whole system in action!
