The flood light is super bright. I lights up most of the long driveway we have. Love the camera and that it can distinguish between animal, person, vehicle, and regular motion.

This product fulfilled my needs perfectly. Very bright, and the camera quality is great. I do wish it connected directly to my WiFi and not a base station, but that is my only complaint. I highly recommend this product.

The Arlo - Pro 3 Indoor/Outdoor Wire-Free 2K HDR Floodlight Camera is another great product from Arlo’s line of wireless security cameras. The key difference between this particular camera and many others is the floodlight. It is heftier than most other wireless cameras but that is only because of the built-in floodlight which really does a great job of illuminating the area it is monitoring when necessary. The other thing I really like about this camera is the two-way audio and how it is compatible with other Arlo products so if you are looking to expand your coverage with a camera that has a floodlight, this is the camera for you! I am very impressed with the Arlo - Pro 3 Indoor/Outdoor Wire-Free 2K HDR Floodlight Camera and I highly recommend it!

A camera and floodlight all in one makes this a remarkable little device. The picture quality and lighting are superb. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the Alexa app recognizes it as a camera, instead of a floodlight. Therefore, I cannot ask Alexa to turn on the floodlights (I have 2 of them). Instead, I have to go through the Arlo app to turn them on for long-term lighting, which is limited to 20 minutes. The ability to use it as a floodlight with Alexa would take this nifty little device to the next level.

The camera/floodlight installed very easily, It took a few tries to get it to connect to the app the first time but was resolved with a quick call to customer service. I would suggest mounting it at a height you can easily reach due to the fact that the battery will have to be recharged sooner or later. It comes with a extended length battery so the charge lasts a long time. (Up to six months). I'm not sure how it will function once the Arlo smart free subscription ends. I read that the activity zone only works with a sub. This is really not cool. It should be a free feature as with other cams. On the whole, it works well. The lights are bright and the camera is high definition. I give it a thumbs up.

We needed a video camera to monitor our storage shed which contains thousands of dollars in tools and equipment. The Arlo floodlight camera was the perfect solution for us. Since the shed is about 25 feed away from our house, we first made sure the WiFi signal was strong enough. Once that was confirmed, we followed the instructions, downloaded the app and installed the camera. The installation process was fairly simple. The challenge was finding a way to plug in the device that was secure so no one could find the plug or figure out how to unplug it if they wanted to break in. I've had Arlo products before. I find they are very good quality for the value. They continue to innovate so I'm happy with this new device.

Setup and installation was easy integrated in the app great. The video is great, motion capture work’s awesome.

I love this and I am so glad I got one to go along with my other camera. Great image and great floodlight to keep my pool area protected at night!

So far so good, pretty slick design, great at picking up motion. Being wireless was THE feature for me. Only downside is it sometimes takes a little long (seconds) for the video to populate in the app library. Will probably get a second one soon.

We have 16 Arlo cameras and home security system and recently purchased the Pro 3 floodlight and solar panel. Will be purchasing another Pro 3 floodlight and magnetic power cable and 2 more Ultra 2 and base station. We have the doorbell, essential spotlights, pro 4, ultra 2 and floodlight. I have also purchased the home security system for my daughter and sons homes. Great quality, excellent pictures. Highly recommended.

I like the bright flood light and the 2k picture quality. I put on the back of my house . Its dark back there and this does just what I need.!

The installation and setup was extremely easy. Installation was straight forward and the quality of the camera and brightness is exactly what I was expecting from the product.

Setup through the app and the camera could have been a bit more seamless. I did have to quit the app and reconnect the camera several times just to set it up. BUT after that. It’s been a breeze. I absolutely LOVE that you can control the light, specific zones, and the quality is phenomenal. No reason to complain that it’s not 4K, 2k is JUST fine and very clear. The notifications on an iPhone and the Apple Watch are perfect. And the fact that you can save the video to your phone instantly. I’m recommending to everyone honestly. Thank you so much for such a great product/experience!

I already have a set of Arlo cameras around, but having the additional coverage is fantastic. I had to get a little creative with the install based on my home's design, but it's worked out so far. The picture is amazingly clear for the 2K, but the system says it has to drop out of it if you want to activate the motion-tracking. The spotlight is very bright (do no test the camera's motion detecting settings indoors, in dim light, while looking anywhere near the front face of the camera). Syncing to the base station seemed to take much longer than have, and be aware, this item did not come with a base station.

This is an ok camera and light but the lag is up to 30 sec. Meaning you don’t get notifications up to 30 sec and the video is lagging behind by 30 sec. Not what you want in a security camera. However the camera was easy to set up and the solar panel is a must for area where you don’t have power. The App is very buggy and hangs up 85% of the time. Again not what you want in a security app

We are building a new house that is going to have a 300' long driveway and were wondering how to light it. We discovered the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight/Cam with the optional Solar Power Charger and found the perfect solution. We've just been testing one unit so far, but three of them will be perfect for the lighting and securing the wooded driveway into our home. The rechargeable battery negates the need to run underground conduit up and down the driveway and the solar panel allows us to mount it and forget it. All three will be tree-mounted, motion triggered, and WiFi connected. Thank you Arlo.

Overall, I think it's a solid option for people who want a floodlight, but don't have the ability to wire one up because of a lack of experience or an available junction box. I had two of these floodlights and feel like I got my money's worth; however, there were some pretty annoying issues which I feel prevented these from being perfect. First, the battery life on these things is pretty inconsistent. My floodlight in my backyard, which gets significantly less use and is connected to a solar panel, can last for months without needing a charge. Conversely, the floodlight facing my driveway can maybe only last four or five days between charges (it is also connected to a solar panel). The software is pretty bad. I've had to resync the cameras multiple times because they somehow lose connection, drop settings, or somehow stop detecting motion. The software's alerts are often slow to appear. You'll spend a significant amount of time futzing with the cameras and the software. I just replaced these with Wired Nest Floodlights and haven't looked back.

Outstanding quality camera, very easy setup. The floodlight is a plus. Replaced an older security system and this one wraps circles around it.
