    Picture quality is ok, too much lag in the wireless camera system. Returned and upgraded to POE camera system.

    It works. Sometimes. Other times it will spam you with alerts and flash off and on like a strobe light. I have had to replace it once already and do suggest you buy a protection plan if you go with this brand. I would not suggest this to a friend and would steer them elsewhere tbh.

    Useless without a premium subscription

    The camera was great until my subscription was up. Once it expires it will not record clips making the camera useless. DO NOT BUY. Go with another brand that doesn't blackball you into a subscription.

    A brick if you don't subscribe to cloud storage

    Do not buy this product unless you intend to purchase their subscription service and have the money to continually pay for it. I have local storage on my Arlo base station and never intended to purchase the subscription for additional cloud storage since the product information does not indicate that it would not record to local storage after the trial. After the trial ended, the device basically is a brick that alerts when there is movement but does me no good. I have local storage and do not want to subscribe to cloud storage. Be aware. The trail did not end until after the return period was already over and now the product cannot be returned and I have a $250 brick.

    READ BEFORE BUY!

    I have another Arlo products at my home and I was pretty happy with them (some exceptions with the Doorbell that get broken for a light rain in Las Vegas... LAS VEGAS guys! it's a desert!) So I've decided to buy this Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight camera... Oh boy!!! 1. I got cracking noises, so I bought a WiFi repeater so they can get better WiFi coverage, 2. I got tons of false positives 3. I got tons of miss-tagging. My back home is by a canal and it detects cars there!! (What's wrong with you Arlo!!) They are definitely not working as expected. And the best part!! Oh men the support!! Arlo just instruct me to return the camera to the retailer, but it was already installed on the wall by a third party... Now should I have to pay them again to remove them?? Also I don't see how the same product will work differently? DO NOT BUY THIS!!! I REPEAT... DO NOT BUY THIS!!

    Reason I don’t like this camera is the fact that you get notifications about 10 seconds late. When my husband arrives home. By the time the camera detects the vehicle and it sends me a notification. My husband is already inside the house. So if that were to be a burglary I would have been already in trouble by the time the slow camera notify me. Plus sometimes it won't even detect very well or it misses recording important footage.

    Still relatively new, but working perfectly

    The camera was easy to connect and install, and it is working as described. It detects motion in a wide field of view, as I’d hoped it would, and the video is very clear. For me, the floodlight is a real bonus. My relatively new house was constructed with no flood lights, meaning that my yard is very dark when kids are out playing in the evening and when I let the dogs out at night. The the motion detection provides terrific light. I’m very pleased and recommend this floodlight camera to anyone with needs similar to mine.

    Wouldn't sync to my Arlo Ultra base station...so I had to return. Too bad, because it looked like a great idea.

    why arlo does not have range extenders?

    I was happy with arlo, until i discovered that the range is limited to 30 feet (not true; it is less than that). But i was really disappointed when i learned that if you want to extend the range, you have to purchase a second hub. Really? no range extenders like ring? arlo is own by Netgear, a networking company. It seems like it will be easier to develop a range extender...

    Very time consuming set up time with WiFi. Many hours spent recharging the battery. Finally I bought the solar panel to charge it. That helped but I still had to pull it out to charge.

    Worked great hooked up easy for about 2 qeeks now i cant keep it connext for more than 12 hrs at a time. I have to try and oair it a minimum of 10 to 15 times before it will.pair again. Dont waste your money

    After the subscription ends you have to pay every month to review clips. This is despite choosing local storage to video clips. That works with my Arlo pro 2 cams but the flood light is essentially a worthless piece of junk unless you pay for the subscription. Oh and their tech support is aweful!!! I spoke with 7 reps over the course of a couple hours after they had me remove all my cameras and reconnect them which took another hour. Stupid techs..bad technology. I won't buy again. Oh and the I decided to buy a subscription and their system locks up at the payment method because the button is grayed out even though everything is filled out. I had to process through PayPal. Incompetence and poor support at every level.
