Customers are saying

Customers commend ARMS' surprisingly deep and fun gameplay, phenomenal motion controls, and ease of use, making it enjoyable for players of all skill levels. Many appreciate the colorful characters and find the game's difficulty to be a satisfying challenge. However, some wish for more content and find the price point to be a bit high, while others would like to see more single-player options.

if you're buying this game anytime beyond launch day of the Switch you are likely wasting money as there are far better games available to you now. it feels like Nintendo hyped this game up only to do absolutely nothing with it. Unfortunate

Was expecting a little more from this. I suppose it's a family type game but still can't see how it'll keep your attention for more than an hour or so.... disappointing...

Nintendo has done it again. This game is fun to play, and its unlockables are good for replay ability. The motion controls are amazing; they are some of the best I've ever seen. Worth the money. Online is good and fast.

Fun, but embarrassingly light on content

ARMS presents a fun and refreshing take on the fighting genre. Not only does it breathe some new life into the casual space with controls that are easy to pick up, but also enough options for a more serious player to find their "way". Unfortunately, the motion controls (while wholly operational) pale in comparison to just using the buttons, and I don't recommend playing online using motion controls lest you enjoy getting your butt handed to you regularly. In addition, because of how ridiculously little there is in terms of content on tap, you will inevitably find yourself simply grinding for fight money to gamble on getting new Arms for your favorite fighters. Whether that's online or through Grand Prix, it gets repetitive faster than any Nintendo "fans" want to admit. I can only recommend this to people who are okay with spending the full price amount and waiting potentially a year before that cost really pans out in content as more will be added along the way.

Got to play the Test Fire (beta) Nintendo had for the last few days and this game was great! It looks fantastic and hoping for greater things to come out of this new IP from Nintendo.

Maybe you just bought the Switch and have already finished Zelda and Mario Kart. Well if you like fighting games, or competitive games in general this is a perfect game for you. Art design is awesome and the characters all vary so theres something for everyone. Motion controls are great but if you just want to use the joy cons as a controller or the pro controller thats great too. Hope this helps you decision to purchase this game!

I played the hour test punches and felt like I had great idea of what I was buying, should be an awesome new fighter for Nintendo. They did a really good job incorporating the motion controls, very precise.

Just got it two days ago. Mostly fight with computer. There is a large range, 7 levels, of difficulties you can choose. It is good for new but a little difficult. Since Zelda is originally on Wii U, this game should be the first game to show you the ability of Nintendo Switch.

I have more fun playing ARMS than I do Mario Kart. I love it almost as much as I love super smash bros, which is saying something. Give the controls a chance-- you'll be surprised at how intuitive some of it is. It's so exhilarating!

This is a great new franchise by Nintendo. The gameplay is technical but forgiving to new players. However, there is not much depth in the game and lost its luster in just a short time. I recommend Arms for fighting game fans.
