More than meets the eye

That's why I give it 4 stars now but I also say persevere and you'll definitely improve. More of a fighting game like Tekken 7 than what I was expecting going in

Feels Pure Gimmick
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After playing with motion controls in Super Mario Odyssey with the Joycons and loving it so much, I expected the motion controls in Arms to be just as good. They're not even half as good as what I expected. The fact that I don't feel at all in control of my character while using the motion control Joycons makes the entire game feel like a gimmick to me. While you can play with a regular controller, the whole point of this game was presented as built for motion controls. This has been a huge disappointment.
