Arms is a decent game to roll out at parties. The motion control feature using both Switch joy cons is intuitive and relatively easy to learn, much in the same way that Wii Sports used the Wiimote (particularly the boxing game).

This game is very unique weird but different characters with a bunch of options. The play, as far as I've played, is very slow. Block is done by either putting your arms up while holding the joy cons in both hands or by pressing down on the stick. There attacks are slow (seeing as you're normally throwing your "arms" out a distance) and can leave you open to counter attacks. Throws are used a lot as far as I've seen, however you can punch a throw attempt stopping it completely. There are a lot of technical aspects such as jumping dashing or jumping and holding dash, using the environment, curving punches and supers. Over all I was hoping for more fast paced action and more opportunities for true combos. Doesn't seem like that is the case so far. Honestly I give this game a 3 1/2.

ARMS is a very fun game where you have to hit your opponent with springy arms that your character has. I played it with my friend and it was tons of fun. The online mode is great as well.

Very fun creative and new worth a try for the fighting game community a new tower to challenge and with free dlc threw the months with new mods characters and stages how can you go wrong

Purchased this with skepticism about how well something like this, and was pleasantly surprised with how fun it is and how well it works.

Got this for my six year old and he loves this game. It's easy enough for him and his ten year old older brother. You will definitely get ur upper body workout playing this game.

This game is very unique and I am having a blast with it. The online is also quite good. I have not experienced any lag. It is a little light on content now but it should be getting lots of extra content in the future I hope.

This game is very fun and challenging might I add every character has a different fighting style that must be learned in order to be successful in this game. Overall great game to play!

A refreshing party game that lends itself well to show off the Switch. My wife and I enjoy battling one another. Using the controller instead of motion controls make it easier as it's smoother, but it's all-around quite fun.

This game is absolute fun. If you love hands on games and games that can be played by many, this is it. I would definitely recommend for a group of people since just one on one gets old sort of fast. But otherwise, fun game!

This game is very fun to play with my family and friends. You can play up to four players locally and this game is so fun has new updates and they have already added a new character.

ARMS has a lot to offer for multiplayer gamers, both online and offline and both casual and competitive. However, it's very light on single-player content, so keep that in mind as you're deciding whether to purchase or not.

I don't know how else to describe this game but very unique and whole lot of fun. My son loves running to show me new features and levels and has had a blast with this game

My son wishes there were more characters, and that they had better arms. Plus side, all 4 of my kids can play together. We like that there are different types of game play... Basketball, volleyball, tournament, etc.

My son saved up to buy this game and is very pleased. Fun little fighting game that makes use of the motion control in the switch controllers. Even my wife will play it with the family.

Even for single player, I've had a blast playing the game. I have not played local multiplayer, but the online is great and it's easy to find a match. Love the game.
