ARM'S is a solid fighting game with different levels of friendly and competitive play. The single player is very repetitive and lacking but the multiplayer is where the game really shines. Hopefully the free DLC mixes the game up enough to keep the fan base around.

This is a great game but in my opinion it is not worth $60.

I have been looking forward to this game for so long because I was hoping for a game that takes advantage of motion controls like Wii Sports had. I think of this game as Wii Boxing on steroids. This game is endless fun.

The art style and design are just awesome. Gameplay is unique and really addictive. I haven't had this fun playing people online in years. Motion controls are well done, but I have to say I prefer the Pro Controller.

Fun battle game. A game that mom can finally beat my boys at. Easy game to play and my boys are flabbergasted at how well I can play. There is no strategy to it, except just keep punching. I like that. LOL

I've been waiting for this to be available for several months now. It does not disappoint. Good fun for the entire family. Intuitive controls that beginners or experienced gamers alike can pick up and start brawling.

Despite my initial gut reaction was to write this game off as some extended Wii Sports Boxing knock-off, I've been pleasantly taken aback by the amount of depth ARMS has as a concept. Though the game has little in the realm of single-player content (hence the 4 versus a 5-star rating), the gameplay is highly addictive and relies on not only watching your opponent for their tells, but also being able to respond appropriately and quickly. I'll admit that ARMS is not for everyone, but for those who are willing to put time and patience into a fighting game (a genre I often avoid, myself), then you'll inevitably find a title worth sinking hours into. (Note: Nintendo has pledged a multitude of free content for the game, similar in the way they did for Splatoon. Hopefully, some of that content is oriented towards a single-player campaign outside of Grand Prix, but only time will tell).
