Customers commend ARMS' surprisingly deep and fun gameplay, phenomenal motion controls, and ease of use, making it enjoyable for players of all skill levels. Many appreciate the colorful characters and find the game's difficulty to be a satisfying challenge. However, some wish for more content and find the price point to be a bit high, while others would like to see more single-player options.

New, Creative, Innovative
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This new IP from Nintendo introduces a whole new way to beat up your friends. Giving the player multiple options of control, this game really feels like the future of gaming. The motion is crazy! And the way you're supposed to hold the controller was unfathomable, but very creative, admirable, and comfortable. I still haven't figured out what play-style I like the most nor my favorite game mode, however, I definitely recommend giving this one a try.

Good not Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good simple game for family fun "boxing". It can be very entertaining for moments with family or friends but it feels like it is missing something to make it truly great. I recommend this mainly for younger people, kids, etc.

Great game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arms is a great game on the Nintendo Switch! It’s a lot of fun to play either by yourself or with a friend. Controlls are a little tricky at first but you get the hang of it over time.

Fun and Exciting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is very fun when you use the motion controls in party play. When you use a regular controller, it takes away from the overall experience. This game reminds me of wii boxing when it first came out and everyone would be flailing to hit their opponent. This game is harder than wii boxing and it is harder to master with motion controls but it adds depth and variety by choosing your "arms". Fighting is not the game type available, so it gives players additional options when playing. Overall it was worth the money.

Just fire no bloody nonsense
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Man tired of all those bloody nonsense Friday 13th fighting games. Well here’s this game. Not Mario/Zelda fire, but still fire. Still let’s get this. Mario and Zelda first though.

A new type of fighting game on the Nintendo Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't know what to expect from ARMS, but once I started playing, I fell in love. I can definitely see this series becoming like a Super Smash Bros. down the road, as long as Nintendo keeps it relevant with a steady stream of DLC. Motion controls for the fighting are fun, but I got tired relatively quickly and went back to the Pro controller. Give this game a shot--it's a pleasant surprise and a breath of fresh air from Nintendo!

Min Min!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Takes a little while to get the hang of gameplay, but once you've figured it out; this game is pretty awesome! My son uses the "thumbs up" grip with the joy cons. I prefer the pro controller. Glad Nintendo made that an option. Either. way, we've had hours of fun on this game and Min Min is a pretty good character - once you can master her moves.

Lots of fun, multiplayer gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controls are interesting when played with the joy con controllers due to movement, however the game is still a lot of fun. There are a myriad of different fighter combinations and the game feels a lot like Splattoon in terms of art style and dialogs/cut scenes. Overall really fun, lighthearted way to kill a little bit of time. It's not crazy involved and won't require you to be sucked in for hours and hours at a time, however there's still lots to do if you want to spend a bit of attention.

Fun for the family!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo finally perfected Wii boxing. ARMS is a great 3rd person fighter with a lot of character. Modes include Grand Prix (main game) volleyball and basketball. All modes can be played online. Online is pretty stable. The controls are really responsive with motion controls but you can also play with docked controllers, a single joy-con and the pro controller. It'll be a great party game for friends and family and supply some really challenge and strategy for those who dig deeper!

Fun Game, But No Legs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game was pretty fun to play for the first few weeks or so. I did have some problems with the motion controls and ended up doing a ton of unintentional grabs. The online Lobby is still probably the best on the Switch. The problem I ran into was that I just kind of lost interest after about 20 hours of gameplay. To put this in perspective, I have played Splatoon 2 for 400 hours and it still isn't old. I would highly recommend Splatoon 2 over this game.

Great for multiplayer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is great to play against friends. It takes some getting used to if you're going to use the motion controls, but that's definitely the best way to go.

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this game for me and my wife to play with our switch and we've had a great time. It is essentially just a fighting game but it is interactive and unique. The characters and different arm types are fun and the fighting style is great. They have a story mode, online play and side games. The story mode is actually a bit challenging but still really fun. One of the best games out for the switch right now

Great punching game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game works well with the motion control joycons. Depending on preferences, you may succeed better on a procontroller. The game is interesting in terms of mechanics. The arms for the characters are customizable which makes characters pretty unique and interesting to battle with. The online function works really well and it's really cool that they randomize the stages between battles and games like volleyball.

Not Bad
