Modem Router states it is comcast approved
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Problem is that comcast will not enable moca and Arris claims they cant enable it. I would only recommend it to a friend after telling this to a friend

Does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy set up. The one complaint is the long reboot cycle. It takes a few minutes for the modem to fully reboot.

Couldn't get it connected to cable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried to activate the modem and I couldn't get it activated. The cable company sent a service person out, charged me $60 just to tell me the product was defective.

Decent but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It can’t handle the speeds it claims or at least not well. Additionally it can only have 16 devices on it at a time. So if your lights, echos, phones, TVs, and computers exceed 16 devices this isn’t the router for you. I live alone and have about 24 devices between the above listed. I prefer to whitelist devices that are supposed to be on my network so I can block everything else

Do not buy if you want the MOCA feature
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased as a gift for my father, finally had a day off and added this modem to his Xfinity account. Everything worked fine including MOCA. Ten minutes later MOCA stopped working. Hours on the phone with Xfinity, they pull Arris on to the call for them to say yeah that feature doesn't work right so we disable it. Blatant bait and switch. Too late to return now I have to spend more to get a MOCA adapter to recreate the function built into this device that they switched off. I'd be less upset if it never worked but it was working great for the first 10 or so minutes to have it stop while streaming a movie. Not right.

Ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not bad because you buy it instead of renting it from xfinity. Not the best router. I may need to buy a better router later on.
