Works as a replacement for C7100-V

Essentially, the same unit, but the Netgear seems to be more "robust" However, the ARRIS has a lower price. YMMV

Not for AT&T

I was trying to supplement my mom’s AT&T provided DSL gateway (12mbps - AT&T plan for elderly), as it gives very little of anything. It wouldn’t allow me on the app, and could never get any device on the internet through it.

Arris will not support Optimum Customers

The modem worked well for 2-3 days, and began restarting itself, multiple times per day, so I contacted Arris support, and they recommended I send the modem back because it doesn't support Optimum. Much happier with stability of Netgear!!!!

Not a good modem/router

It just did not pack near enough power to cover my large house, even though it was recommended by a salesperson. Fortunately, Best Buy allowed me to return it for store credit beyond the 15-day limit. Thank you!!
