Good for Internet - but not for phone with Optimum

A Nightmare with Arris modem

Xfinity recommended this to be the best replacement. It was a nightmare for one week with many struggles. Had to finally call an Xfinity Tech who declared that it is a bad modem and can't be activated. I returned it and swore that I will never do this again!

This is literally the same modem, you’re just buying it outright instead of renting. It worked fine but did not improve speed or functionality. Works ok.
