i flew into town to have the Geek Squad come to my house to install a modem/router and a google nest Wi-Fi system. I had a 7 am appointment. the tech showed up at 830/845. All he had to do was replace my existing system. 4 hours later he gave up and left me with no Wi-Fi at all. Keep in mind it worked when he showed up. What a waste of time. Never again. I have been atotal tech member for 4 years. I can't wait to drop it.

1 star for misleading information. This modem will only handle 600 mbps even though there is a dominant 1GBPS on the front of the box. Xfininty customer service confirms max speed is 600 mbps. Returned and got the T25 model.

Very quite no problems so far. I had it about two months and very well pleased. Price might be a little on the high side but xfinity does prefer you to use a particle one.

I bought this model to handle tv, cable and internet. Once I got it hooked up, my carrier. Spectrum told me I had to use their phone router. I could have bought the cheaper model and saved $75

I purchased this modem thinking it would allow me GIGA speed. I was later informed by the onsite tech that you require DOCSIS 3.1 in order to achieve giga speeds. So, had to return this device. I have Xfinity

Did not work with Xfinity, but I don't know if that was the fault of the modem or Xfinity, so I didn't want to give it fewer stars.. Very disappointing.

Very difficult to set up. More capabilities than was needed. If the store was able to run as it normally would I could have reviewed the capabilities with store techs.

With the prices of renting a router going up it was a no brainer to purchase one from Best Buy. This model is a step up from our rental and offers excellent service.

Doesn't work any better than the direct from Xfinity router/modem. Disconnects from internet a lot. Probably should have just stuck to renting from them.

I decided to substitute my own modem/router for the Comcast and save $10 a month. I purchased the Arris with voice because it had been developed for Comcast customers. I am not a total novice at installing electronic equipment but after 45 minutes of not being able to get it up and running, I decided to call the Arris technical number. Well, that was another hour and fifteen unproductive minutes. Finally, the Arris technician told me to call Comcast so I did. Another hour wasted. I returned the Arris and purchased a Netgear 40 with voice and I installed it in 30 minutes.

Modem is slow compared to advertised speed. Probably a Comcast issue because you buy it but it’s is an expensive purchase to not get full capability from it

I had this modem for several months. Works great when I have service, but it re-sets itself throughout the day so I'm constantly losing service. Xfinity came out and checked the line and everything is fine on their end. Arris replaced the modem since it's still under warranty, but the new one still does the same thing. DO NOT get an Arris if you have Xfinity. :(

I followed instructions and with Xfinity help got it started. Then I was told by Xfinity to call ARRIS to complete the log in process to connect to all the devices. Customer service representative couldn’t help. He said that he gave up and I should return it to the store. Waste of nearly 7 hours on the phone and 2 trips to Best Buy. Buyer Beware!

Works well with no issues! Style looks great as well.

I have had this installed for about a month now, with no issues, easy set up, and we seem to have good wifi coverage for our 2 story house.

This Arris was a bear for Comcast to get to work. I spent all day with them until they got it to work In all fairness it was lrobably a lack on Comcast,s end

Ehh, this router is pricey but does everything i need it too. Plus i don't think it's getting phased out anytime soon. So i'll invest/

The Arris Surfboard is a great modem. Much better than the one you rent from your cable company and it has already paid for itself!
