This router has been a great purchase. I receive a strong signal and it was easy to install. I would definitely recommend this product.

I decided to get my internet, TV and telephone through Comcast/Xfinity. I didn't want to rent monthly the modem/router from Comcast/Xfinity so I went to Best Buy to purchase my own. Comcast/Xfinity had a hard time getting my purchased ARRIS unit to work in their system which was a Comcast/Xfinity problem and not a problem with the ARRIS unit. Once Comcast/Xfinity got the ARRIS unit into their system the ARRIS unit has been working nonstop flawlessly for the 2 1/2 months it has been in operation. I would recommend this unit.

i bought this as a replacement for my old router and it works great. had it for a year and haven't had any issues with it. easy to set up and the color is nice. connection strength is strong to use when I'm four houses down.

This is a decent modem/router and works with Xfinity services well. The set up was a snap and its cheaper than paying monthly to rent it. It is kind of large, so be aware it will take up some space. I do wish it was a little more powerful, I do think it slows when more devices are using it. We have several cell phones, desktop cpu, 2 laptops, tv, bluray players, etc connected and when the cell phones are connected and the cpu, it seems that my laptop is slower, but that maybe just anecdotal. However, it does it's job and I haven't had to reset it so that's a plus!

It was easy to setup and my spectrum connection recognized it immediately. It's fast and dependable.

I bought this to replace a Xfinity (Cisco DPC3941T) rental. The old one developed a known issue with frequent disconnects when in bridge mode. Based on other reviews, I decided to just buy one instead of dealing with Xfinity again. Looks identical to the old one, just white instead of black. Follow the online activation instructions and avoid another call to support. I had this up and running in under 5 minutes without talking to support. As a bonus my cable bill is $10/mo cheaper without the rental fee.

Need a router that would work with our landline. Few out there to choose from—you will not be disappointed. Easy setup too!

This is the best modem for Comcast/Xfinity if you have voice service. Purchased to replace the Gateway that Comcast provided, which was a security risk and got hacked (DNS hack) compromising the network. It took an hour on the phone with Comcast to get it authorised, because it is such a new product. Take control of your network, it's easy to install and will pay for itself n a couple of years. Once up and running, was super fast on wifi, comfortably exceeding the bandwidth expected. No issues since installation.

Just installed this modem and needed to work with Xfinity to set this up and activated. Now it's working beautifully! We have decided to purchase our own modem instead of renting one from Xfinity (save $15/mo.).

As our Comcast internet speed increased, we didn't upgrade our personal owned router/modem. This was a huge mistake as our daughter is in cyber school, online college courses, and I work from home, and sometimes hubby too. We struggled with opening files, spreadsheets and many other software packages. We bit the bullet and found WOW what were we missing. This system has generated a tremendous amount of speed to match our top tier internet and has room to grow with updates.

The Arris Router was easy to install and is working great. Our last Arris router was damaged by a power surge during a recent storm, We now have an upgraded power strip to protect the router. It is important for our household to have a router that is voice capable and this Arris meets the bill.

I FINALLY REALIZED THAT IS WAS RIDICULOUS TO RENT A MODEM FROM COMCAST EVERY MONTH AND THAT IT WAS BETTER TO OWN. BASED ON MY RESEARCH, THE ARRIS WAS THE BEST AND MOST COMPATIBLE UNIT ON THE MARKET, EASY TO INSTALL, GREAT TECH SERVICE AND FASTER THAN MY COMCAST UNIT. VERY HAPPY WITH MY DECISION.
