Great product my computer is working better than it has in a long time. I was not aware that it was not working like it should until it would not work at all. I went to Best Buy and was helped to pick the proper modem for my computer. Then I has the Geek Squad install it and I’m up and running with a smile.

Easy, Fast, and Ready out of the Box! I had no problem with the internet set up, but since I have a phone line as well I had to contact Xfinity to help me through the phone connection and even that was Easy, Fast, and Ready to use right after the phone call.

Was worried that having no experience with modems would be difficult set up, but that was not the case. Only issue was after attaching all wires didn’t know what to do. That would have been helpful in directions that you need to log into companies website to activate. Also, instructions are geared towards computers with slot for modem. Apple laptops do not have that feature so instructions need work around.

I purchased this Router/Modem to replace the one I was renting from Xfinity for $170 per year. It was fairly easy to set up, after researching the process on line, and I never had to contact Xfinity. I think this router works as good or better than the Xfinity model and based on how long I was renting their router I could have bought several of my own.

Replaced an older Surfboard modem and my download speed increased from 140 to 240 mbps on a 200 mbps Comcast plan. Finally getting what I pay for and more. Wi-Fi signal is very strong throughout the house on every floor. Very pleased so far with modem performance. Low point of experience was the 1.5 hrs it took Comcast to "activate" the device. Hope your experience is better.

This was purchased to replace the service providers “Residential Gateway” (which got hacked) and is effectively the same device. However it remains under your control, and does not broadcast a public wifi hotspot. It pays for itself in about 2 years. If you don’t have voice service, then you only need something like the SB6190, which is also an excellent product.

Nice upgrade from modem cable company provided - speed is fantastic. I did have (and currently still do) issue with phone line - ISP was unable to get that working during the initial call. I was suppose to call back for followup call however have not as of yet (no one uses that line anyway.) So blame is not fully on ISP.

This cable modem router was very easy to install and setup. With this router, there are no monthly rental fees with the cable company. Telephone hookup was easy and the whole system was active and running in a short time. Before, I was charged for two separate equipment rental fees, one for the modem and the other for the phone converter. Within a year this should pay for itself.

TOTALLY worth the money and the satisfaction of not paying Comcast every month for the rest of eternity. PLUS I was able to hook up an ancient, but still functioning laser printer = save the landfill.

I had moved and decided to finally buy a router instead of renting from xfinity. Despite all of their warnings about buying your own -- I've had a very good experience with this one so far! No issues, good internet, and was set up right away by the xfinity technician as I was setting up my internet. I recommend!
