I recently switch over to the xfinity triple play and I was renting modem from xfinity for a quick sometime. I visited Bestbuy, noticed this modem. Hooks up to comcast pretty fast for setup. Supports gig speed give a good signal when placed high in the house. Umbrella effect seems.

Great replacement for 5 year old Arris SURFBoard. Worked great with Xfinity. Save $15 a month...wooohoo!

This thing is almost identical to the one that Comast rents for $14 per month. Wish I would have done this a long time ago.

I didn't think I would like this brand but it I haven't had any issues since I decided to buy my own and not use the Comcast box I was given.

The Arris Modem is completely compatible with the 175 mbps Comcast data rate. And, without any hassles, allowed the use of my existing wifi router network.

Great router, so much better than the ones that are rented out by so many of the cable companies, it pays for itself and we saw immediate results in speed.

Use with my Comcast TV subscription instead of paying monthly to rent modem. Works well and saves money in long run

This router seems faster than the one it replaced and does allow phone service through Comcast. It is, however, expensive at $240. So far it works very well.

I purchased this for a client who has Xfinity home service. It gets the job done and have not had any issues with it. It beats renting a modem.

This is the second one we have owned. The first was fried from lightning. Easy to set up and was back on WiFi in no time.

Easy to hook up and get on line quickly. Phone calls come through clearly--not so many dropped calls as with another brand. Highly recommend this product!
