I finally dumped CenturyLink and switched internet

Arris Surfboard Voice Cable Modem

First of all this voice and cable modem is out performing the cable companies. In nearly a month I have not lost my internet wifi connection. Nothing worse than losing your connection during a facetime connection with work related function or friends. Not to be forgotten is the savings by purchasing this modem rather than renting from your cable provider.

Top notch customer service and technical support

For some reason the switch from Xfinity's gateway didn't go as planned. However, i did receive a call from Arris's customer service on a Sunday to walkme through the simple process. After that, everything has been sweet i am happy with this all in one contraption and am happy to not pay a monthly rental fee anymore.

Good router, limited range
